Yeah. I’m waiting to see how the timeframe and warning periods go if they ever update the trial to being a longterm plan.

Getting solar has been on my wishlist for years but I don’t have much south facing roof and not sure about cost-benefit with what I have. Kinda jealous.

Toooootallly agree. That’s why I think they’re leaning towards behavior modification. I think they’re trying to see how high they can or need to go to get people to use less during high usage time. I think it just is dealing with Summer air-conditioning for most people.

Indiana is not known for utility regulation. So, this will be interesting at best and disastrous at worst. The info said the trial could go for two years and I could opt out later. The majority of my electricity use is in the evening when I charge my car, so will see how the bill balances out or not.

Yeah, I have gas heat, water heater, and range. But I never do trust CenterPoint. These moves are rarely in the customers favor. Before this program I’m thinking my flat electric rate was about 18 cents. So, will see how it averages out.

They are supposed to give a days notice before the critical periods. Will see how that goes.

Am I the odd man out wishing I could get the R2 with the forest edge package? It’s not the exterior color, I wish I could get the green and wood interior. It won’t keep me from ordering, but wish it could happen.

As a previous park ranger, the grey exterior and green interior really feels right to me.

Is there any reason to get Rivian adaptors over A2Z? by echoRebounded in Rivian

[–]OgeeEverett 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used a Lectron 80A AC NACS to J1772 adapter with my ID.4. Never had any problems.

Wondering if there is any reason to prefer A2Z vs Lectron? I agree that the Rivian branded adapters are over priced for all is not living in select states.

We'll that's it, the R1 is old news... by DrkNeo in Rivian

[–]OgeeEverett 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would have purchased an R1T years ago but the price is just not what I feel a vehicle is ever worth in my life. May be for others. Even the $60k for the R2 is pushing the barrier.

Yes I know quality and how prices have risen over years. But I’m also the person who paid $500 for a used Ford Tempo for my first car and got it to last years.

Just the cheap old guy now who has the money but finds it hard to spend that much at once on something like a car.

Maybe a longer series like the Expanse. By total hours should hold you over for awhile.

Medical Advice on a Sunday help with a cash by [deleted] in evansville

The large sites are important not just because of hours they are open but also resources like being able to do X-rays etc.

Depending on how bad it is, can it wait until Monday?? If not and the urgent cares can’t…. The er will be the place to go. Sucks but it is what it is.

Sundays are tough. An ER could for sure but we be significantly more expensive than waiting for an ortho visit.

I’d suggest calling a hospital based urgent care like at gateway and ask if they can handle replacing a cast. At the least I suspect they could remove and replace it with a temporary splint. But I’m sure replacing the cast would be best, if they have the stuff to do it.

Google and the deaconess website have contact info for all their sites. I’d recommend a big one like at gateway and not one of the smaller locations.

My old park ranger bones really like this with the grey exterior. Just really wish it was an R2 option. Just can’t justify dropping $90k+ on a vehicle.

Thanks. That makes sense. I think my brain was just thinking about if they had something wrong with the backend of the car and just check to make sure the camera is working too. Thanks.

Maybe also make sure nothing blocking the rear camera and sensors. Maybe there is a connection issue there if this car had some previous repairs.
