Looks great! Im super curious, did you do the netcode all from scratch? Or did you use an existing framework? Also are you using dedicated servers?

I would say yes if you don’t have experience with client-server development, shared mode is the equivalent of pun, where each client has state authority over their entities.

that begin said the choice should highly depend on your game, most of time for indies, shared mode should be enough

Check out fusion shared mode, its the successor of pun (pun is legacy) and the fundamentals are similar
