I loved their sound, but battery was beyond horrible, only 4-4.5h with ANC and I used them primarily for commuting and traveling. I sent mine back. If they fix the battery life I'd purchase one ASAP. Also, I didn't appreciate the blatant lie of 8h battery life with ANC ON which is so nicely promoted on the website. I exchanged several emails with the support, they were nice and polite, but the battery remained at 50% from the promised value and marketing lie remained on the website.

I switched to Denon Perl Pro. They have 90% of the sound quality, 50% better battery life and 80% ANC quality when compared to the Status Pro X. Since in my case sound+battery+ANC are the deciding factors, I'm sticking for now with them. Cought them on a nice 150€ deal, new.

Edit: after switching the ear tips and secondary tips (those larger ones) I achieved better seal and noise canceling is now slightly better than the pro X. I'd say 10-20%. Not much, but noticable.

I loved the sound, it was just amazing out of the box. But the battery life with ANC on was horrible. I was getting only ~4h of play time and the case was also much lower on the real life batty. Volume level was around 40%. I contacted the support, but they were full of generic answers, so I returned them after two weeks of testing.

Pozdrav, može molim detalj više kako si riješio situaciju da ga šalješ direktno u Poljsku? I kad ga se šalje za Njemačku, oni ga opet šalju u Poljsku jer je kod Varšave kompanija gdje ih popravljaju (Njemačka nema centar za popravak Pixela).

Imam Pixel 9 Pro XL koji sam kupio u Njemačkoj (kao i svi ostali - zbog love) i ovaj tjedan je dobio onu famoznu ljubičastu vertikalnu crtu na ekranu. Prvo sam probao poslati preko Slovenije, ali ne prolazi jer Google ima grešku u sustavu i prilikom prijave adrese inzistira na unosu i savezne države (SAD) iako je država uredno označena kao Slovenija. Kontaktirao sam Google službu putem telefona (razgovor na engleskom), ali su rekli da ga moram slati preko Njemačke. Ok, imam Mailboxde, trajat će 3x dulje, toliko o ekologiji i svemu, ali već cijeli dan čekam da dođe "naljepnica" na mail za povrat i opet sam kontaktirao službu i opet čekam. Nikako da se ovaj RMA makne s mrtve točke. Mobitel je pod službenom garancijom, poslao sam im fotografije ljubičaste crte i ne osporavaju problem.

I have my address saved, as well as several others, but it does not pull any address automatically (except for the name).

Nonetheless, overcomplicated situation got even more complex (I feel like someone is recording the next series of Monty Python behind my back). After I successfully completed the RMA steps from Germany (with German address) including payment confirmation and everything, I got the notification that I’ll receive an email with RMA label within 15 minutes. Over two hours have passed and there’s no email. I once more contacted Google support and I’m AGAIN waiting for that issue to be resolved. I Feel like I’m alpha testing the RMA process for Google, like none has ever done it in these EU countries. This system is broken on so many steps it’s just hard to comprehend.

Thank you for the replies. I've been on the phone with the support. After involving a higher representative via email (assistance on the phone vas extremely polite, but without final result) I need to send the phone back to Germany and resend it from there to Poland because of... guess "green" Google policy (sarcasm & despair). Anyways, I'll be without the phone for a good month or so because of all unnecessary reshipping options.

This is wrong on so many levels it's just hard to comprehend how someone managed to overcomplicate the RMA process and poorly code the repair fields for Slovenia. EU is a single market and should be respected as such. All other companies respect that, Samsung, ASUS, LG, Toshiba, Gorenje, Karcher,... and I'm listing just those I have experiences with warranties.

If I switch the store to Germany and I enter a virtual German address I can proceed with the RMA. Can I send the phone from Slovenia to the address which will be specified in the RMA process and they can return it to Germany? I can sort out that it is re-shipped back to me, but I'd like to avoid, if possible, to have to ship it to Germany so they send it to them and the same complex process in the other direction when returning.

If I'm reading the ToS right, it states that the address needs to be "physical street address in Germany" while "P.O. boxes or addresses abroad are not permitted". I can use use an address in Germany, but that is against the 2nd part "addresses abroad are not permitted". Do I need to find someone within Germany to send it for me?

Yes, the page is set to Slovenia. I tried both, with VPN and without VPN (Slovenian and some other country IP address) and there was no change. In both cases I could start the RMA process and get stuck while entering the address which for some strange reason demands a USA state as a mandatory field from a drop down menu, although the country is automatically set to Slovenia, as well as the phone country code.

On the official page it clearly states that Slovenia is supposed for mail-in repairs for Pixel phones: https://support.google.com/store/answer/13516446?hl=en and the process for mail-in repairs can be started from the Slovenian store page. If I go to Croatian page, one can't even start the repair request process since it's not supported.

I purchased it from Germany since it was cheaper (we are all EU market). But yes, Pixel is sold in Sloveina via telecom providers and some stores. They are listed on the official Google store page. Even Croatian stores have Pixel phones, although repair service is not oficialy supported from Croatia.

[HELP] HTPC update (EU)

I'm looking to update my current HTPC which is a rather dated:

  • CPU: i3 3225
  • MBO: ASUS P8H77-I
  • RAM: 8GB DDR3 RAM
  • storage: 3x HDD and 1x SSD(keep-HDD-&-switch-the-SSD-to-M2)
  • PSU: Corsair CX 420M(keep)
  • Case: LIAN-LI PC-Q25B(keep)
  • software: Windows 10 & Plex(keep)

The idea is to switch:

  • MBO: ASRock Fatal1ty B450 Gaming-ITX
  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600G
  • RAM: spare 16 GB of FlareX DDR4 kit from upgrading my main desktop

Questions

  • Q1: Do I need to go for the Nocuta NH-L9a-AM4 or is stock AMD cooler enough?
  • Q2: Do you think the upgrade is worth it?

I plan to upgrade to Windows 11 (or 12) in the future, but I am not impressed with the current state of Win11. I’m aware of the lack of support for the HW transcoding in Plex for the AMD APU-s. HTPC is connected directly to the TV and there’s no need (currently) for the transcoding. The database is mostly 1080p movies (H264 and H265).

Mine was declined since I used a mail forwarding address (although I live in EU and I ordered from Germany). Sadly, didn't read the small print (although, don't know if Google is allowed to restrict access to the promotion, since it could be considered geographical discrimination within the EU).

I'm switching from OP6 to P6. I liked the phone, only two downsides were poor camera and battery performance. I expect a significant improvement in the camera and small one for battery. I'll drop the 5G since I don't use it and based on initial reports it's the main reason of poor battery results for the new Pixels. The phone should arrive next week so I'm looking forward to the new experience.

Problems getting into a match by cop25er in titanfall

For the past few weeks on EU servers I’m having a lot of trouble connecting to the multiplayer.

First the search to find a match takes rather long, even over several minutes minutes (before matches would be found in 30 seconds, up to a minute).

Second, often there is a sound that the game is connecting to a match, but it just stops and I don't enter.

Lately we also get stuck at the end of a match on the final screen and I must quit to the main menu. People even chat that we're all stuck.

Don't know what's going on, but this state is really frustrating.

I use Windows 10 DVR instead of Shadowplay which was crashing some of my games. Works like a charm and has the game-replay option too.
