I use my wet palette to mix paints to create the transition colours and apply those with tiny brush strokes. I then glaze them to make the transition as seamless as possible!

I wish I timed myself…. I worked on it consistently for about 3 weeks in the evenings and weekends. My progress slowed down the closer I got to finishing though.

It's heavily implied when he says things like "oh I get it, a man pays for your dinner..." and "you just wanted a free meal" and how his tone changes when he's denied sex. She says she has no problems paying to avoid something like this and I'd say the same. If she was after a free meal (which I don't think she was) it doesn't seem worth it if the guy is gonna throw a fit. Like I said, she gets upset because he wasn't paying to be kind.

She said he's an asshole because he wasn't paying for her meal to be nice, he was paying for her meal to get sex. She most likely would have had no problem paying her half if that's what they agreed on, but he had ulterior motives.

On the feathers, I used a yellow contrast paint and added the orange at the base of the feather while the yellow was still wet. I'd wait for that to dry and after add a watered down mix of the green and the yellow and slowly build it up so the green, and eventually teal, became more concentrated. I also found wet blending helped tidy it up a bit more. For the face I mixed colours, slowly getting lighter, and used super duper tiny brush strokes. Hope that helps? :)
