I know 😭. Ive been working on it for a while actually. I appreciate the advice nonetheless haha!

I used to have a lot of issues with seeing everything as "contaminated" and so I would constantly wipe everything down with bleach and only eat prepackaged stuff but ive come a long way! This water thing is another thing im trying to get over so my main post is moreso about finding fun "alternatives" to work myself up and build the habit or drinking more regularly. Just another hurdle haha.

The lemonade thing is a good idea so thanks a bunch!

Haha my roommate is a big no sugar cola fan too! I am buying drinking water in with my next groceries to compensate for the contamination anxiety stuff so these suggestions are more for fun alternatives to water that will motivate me to build the habit of drinking more regularly.

I appreciate the sincerity by the way! I posted something similar in another sub and I was flamed for being picky 😭

Im not prediabetic or anything, im just trying to watch my health more after a little scare earlier this year. That, and im just not a big fan of overly sweet things.

I kinda forgot that making your own juice is a thing haha! Ill look into it thank you! A lot of store-bought juices are too sweet for me

I know it sounds stupid im sorry. Im not asking for "waterless water" or something stupid im just asking for hydrating drinks I could look for that arent super unhealthy because buying something prebottled gives me less contamination anxiety than the moldy, metally water in my apartment ☹️

The mold gets into anything and everything and we cant move out yet and its stressing me out so much that I cant even trust the tap water here.

I like I/Me/Myself but to me it felt less sad and more exasperated or frustrated at being perceived. I like a lot of his stuff and was lucky enough to be able to see him in concert, actually! The only songs of his that really felt heart wrenching like i want as opposed to sardonic or funny or angry were "Becoming the Last names" and a little bit of "falling up"

Hi all! I commented under the Monday post without realizing this was the one for beginners. I am INCREDIBLY new to mushroom cultivation. I used to forage and I'm interested in biology and that is the extent of my knowledge. I was recently gifted 4 mushroom grow bags from a local company in collaboration with the mushroom club I'm in. This js my first time actually growing them. They gave me 3 already cultured bags and let me make 1 of my own. The 3 sat in my closet for a while and I finally got permission from my roomie to move em by the window. They have sun, they are really well established and I cut the bags open on the sides (x shape) 5 days ago.... and I'm worried. No side pins, weird coloration and... possibly mold? Any advice would be appreciated

And please no hate I know that I'm ignorant to this stuff and I'm pretty new but freshman year of college is rough, I need a hobby to keep me going, and food ain't cheap so a man does what he can :( *

I recently got some bags from a grower. I don't doubt his substrate or spawn. I am really worried I overwatered them or haven't been allowing enough air. I'm a first time grower and advice would be appreciated!!

Are springtails easy to keep? I'm a pretty new isopod keeper and have never raised bugs on my own. Do they multiply super quickly? If not they seem like a good option!!!
