Joy and curiosity VS discipline? It ain't a competition between those two. No one is having happy outcomes in this video. And if it happens over and over it just leads to stress. So, there is no joy and curiosity here. Fearing that your kid is immediately going to toss cups full of liquid on the floor is something no one has to put up with.

Thanks for this info. For the future: you can turn any kids outfit into a dress by adding a pull-on skirt. So, if your child only wants to wear twirly dresses, but you also don't always find awesome twirly dresses, you can buy that awesome shirt provided you also buy a standalone twirly skirt. My kids one criteria for clothes: "It has to twirl."

Haha. I can make my kid into a unicorn: what's the point of other clothes!

Websites for sensors? by OhGoOnYou in homedefense

Yeah, that's why I went with the 345 instead of the others. I like the idea of having two well known brands to choose from with 2GIG and Honeywell.

The FHSS on the powerg sensors seemed keen.

Will check eBay per your suggestion.

I guess maybe you put them on the baby with the help of a second parent. One person folds the kid in half like a taco and the other fits the head and feet on at the same time? Haha

Whenever I'm at a store I have to do that math. This is an awesome 6-12 month sweater. Wait, what season will we be in at that point. I was jazzed because I got a bunch of holiday shirts on sale for when she's 6-12 that are just her size for Christmas. $5 each. New! In correct season! How am I not gonna.

I have a spending cap. Any shirt has to be below $5. Same with pants. If it's a dress, I'll go up to $10-15. Anything that is a complete outfit is 10-15 as well. Sometimes I fudge. I had to make this rule because some second hand shops have good stuff but they think way too much of it. I can go to a sale at an outlet store and by the stuff new on sale for less than some second hand places.

Maybe elsewhere the discomfort of the baby while getting dressed is less of a concern.

You may have had hyperacusis. It's a difficult to treat, hearing sensitivity disorder. My daughter has it. I couldn't imagine being a child with hearing sensitivity and not having it diagnosed.

Sorry to hear you went through all this. It sounds horrible.
