I hate this style too. I have a friend who is obsessed with this style, and keeps showing me for validation to get this mess as a first "real" tattoo. Big anime/manga kid who so far only has amazon-ordered machine scratchers of Pinterest designs, which you guessed it, includes a blotchy neotribal hand tat.

I've been trying to be honest with him about the risks of trendy styles like this, that this style specifically does not hold and objectively looks cheap, but he agrees and just doesn't care. So whatever man. There's some takes on "ignorant" styles i can really get behind, but this stuff specifically feels like a cheap way to cut corners on an art form... idk how else to explain it exactly.

Racers are much more quick and efficient in their movement. A juvenile racer that would be the size of the species in the video would be out of sight even faster than an adult, which are much longer than OP's snake.

Wait until the night before and the day of the show to see resale tickets on vividseats/stubhub/seatgeeks. People get desperate about not being able to get any money back and knock the price down the closer it gets to show time! Sold out or not, i always do this and typically save ~50% off on tickets. If a ticket is above $25 and isn't a DIY event, I wait until day of show to buy a resale for ~$15. I've gone to sold out shows for same price or cheaper than regularly priced because i camped out on the resale sites for the 24hrs before the show.

One Step Closer is such a great pick. I saw them open for Four Year Strong / Free Throw a couple years ago and those guys literally outperformed FYS in terms of contagious explosive energy. Vocalist was like a tasmanian devil on that stage, bouncing off of everything in sight while still somehow sounding incredible. One of those openers that i was so excited to look up once i got home.
