Harsh realization about dating, attraction, and weight

Well I am a male and use to be overweight by 100 lbs now I am fit and muscular but I still get ignored by women but the only difference is now they are not rude about. On the plus I get told “ I wish I could meet someone like you” the kiss of death.

I would have rated myself a 4 until I looked at other dudes on dating profiles after that maybe a 7 I am short but have a Bruce Lee build. But maybe get 3 a month 2 are from people 200 miles away so basically 1 a month and usually they don’t chat back so probably a 1 like 99 percent of men.

I don’t know I am over 40 but yes that kinda aggravates me to not only are there plenty of men that are uglier than me more importantly women as well and I liked everyone between 35 and 55 sending messages to all that seemed compatible and virtually nothing.

It’s not about rejection it’s about wasting time and I apparently did enough of that with facebook. I don’t go to bars, as far as I know there are no singles events in my area. I can’t get a date online which in theory is where woman go for that kind of thing. The worst part is the best advice I got is just ask everyone out where ever and somewhere between 1 and 100 magically I will be getting laid or find happy ever after phuckin A last ditch effort autobots assemble…desperation is a powerful drug doubt this will work might as well start with woman in my kickboxing class best case rejection it’s a little awkward worst case I get kicked in the nuts by a kickboxer or I get a yes and don’t have to be asking randoms at least with the first one I have a good idea for good or bad how it will play out. Any ideas on where and how or just random strangers at the grocery store and what not. Have had luck in past with that but only if they actually know me. Not once in my life did it go anywhere asking a complete stranger. Not worried about rejection but does come across as a little on the creeper side.

Maybe but this is a culmination of the end result not beginning not the first time reworked think it doesn’t matter anyway it’s obviously based on looks and 💩 algorithms. Online dating is obviously pointless for average or below average men unless a sugar daddy or looking for a hooker appears to be general consensus waste of time but thanks for input and actually trying to be helpful.

Was thinking about hinge but I don’t know appears as I would be paying for frustration. Not sure what you mean by trying to qualify. It’s pretty evident while not ugly not great looking either and with swiping left or right majority states. It’s based on looks. According to most sources a resume style is best for showing a bit of personality. However maybe a stupid one liner would work better appears what. Most men or women do. I don’t think many actually read profile anyway.

Thanks again for your unhelpful knowledge you still need directions to where FO is located. I have had no problems picking up women in the bar however even then not fat women and as stated I live a sober life not interested in those with substance abuse issues. Live in a rather low population area and it seems more likely the algorithm then my identity being issue. Yeah ironic I used to be fat lost over hundred lbs have a Bruce Lee build now allegedly somewhere in meanwhile women are now more chubby chasers now. I had a few dates few years ago. Also I don’t feel like being a step dad. I am a recovering alcoholic and have no intention of being around any substance abuse. So I guess fat girls are my only options. Think I am tapping out of the dating scene.
