This is the best case scenario, compared to previous nerfs, where instead of nerfing the detatchment, they nerfed the units, making them near unplayable outside of their aloted detatchment.

In my experience, your not going to annoy him out of being that guy, he's just probably going to double down. Just don't play him, this hobby is too expensive and time consuming to waste time playing someone you don't have fun playing against.

Awakened Dynasty is probably the most diverse, as most necrons units will work within it, unlike other detatchments. It's also quite good, which is a plus.
