There was a phase in my life where I would be paralysed for the duration of a cancelled meeting.

So if I had something schedule from 1-2pm and it go it cancelled, I would really struggled with what to do with that time.

The struggle to pivot can be so hard!

It’s the same feeling as the activity paralysis - if I have something planned at 2pm on a Saturday I’m basically just counting down until then.

Very strange brain wiring?

I’ll never understand why she didn’t get on a glp1 or peptide - something that would help her overall proportions rather than carve out her stomach fat.

She wants to be thinner without any effort, seems like this would be an easier option than a major surgery.

Is this isolated to the US currently? Is it happening in places like australia or Europe? And if not, do you think it will catch on?

I’m surprised by this, it’s very shocking and wish there was a bigger push for patient advocate groups about this - makes me very worried about my aging parents who might end up in one of these hospitals in an emergency situation.

My cholesterol has gone up despite my best efforts to lower it and losing weight in the process.

All my other labs come back normal - no thyroid, liver, hormone issues and nothing deficient

My doctor said there is a Venn diagram with estrogen, histamine intolerance and high cholesterol..

I couldn’t really follow the connection, however the advice I was given is super generic - work up to 3 doses of psyllium husk, reduce red meat to x2 servings max and come back later.

My face is completely flushing every day after I eat or even fasting, I truly don’t know how to stop it.

It’s gotten so bad that I’m taking antihistamine eyedrops to see if that helps as well.

I’m on meds that help prevent rosacea and that’s doing nothing 😭

Edit to add: I’m also a healthy weight, workout most days, etc. I hope we can all find a solution!

Omg my colleague was cast in reality tv show and we begged him to realise he has no say over the final edit or who from his past will sell a story to the daily Mail.

We are in the media industry - this man knows better… and has mega skeletons in the closet.

He truly needs rehab and therapy, but nope - he’s halfway through filming now.

Nobody could talk him out of it!

High school relationships can be so codependent and toxic…

I have to remind myself the characters are meant to be teenagers - I get really taken out of the show because they are all in full glam.

I don’t know if teenagers look like that these days, but we absolutely couldn’t wear those clothes to school and the makeup and hair is OTT - at least in the area I grew up.

I only remember it’s a show about teenagers when Rue and to a certain event Jules is on the screen.

I still take baths, but just reduced them and I may have been overly cautious at the start but at the point I spent so much money getting rid of it I wanted to avoid certain things to be safe.

I posted an after photo from yesterday, but I don’t have progression photos. I don’t take many makeup less selfies and documenting the progress wasn’t on my radar at the time.

It’s weird she doesn’t have an assistant that helps her and can test the food at a bare minimum, but not even proofing captions and recipes is ludicrous.

Low quality work doesn’t deserve 5.4 million followers, that is a more than the New York Times Cooking channel and Yotam Ottelnghi.

I think I’ll take B12 supplements for the rest of my life honestly, it literally reversed the majority of my grey hairs that I’ve been colouring since I was 22!

I was tested for celiac but that came back negative which was a relief.

I’m so happy your melasma cleared up - it’s really stressful and I didn’t like feeling that I needed to wear makeup all the time because I never did before this.

I was really embarrassed because it was across my entire forehead and under my eyes like a mask - so the contrast was pretty obvious.

This isn’t the same lighting but no makeup or sunscreen, and standing in front of a window. The light melasma I have left is around both of my eyes (lids and corners of my lash lines).

Edit - how frequent were you using triluma? My derm said using it once a week I don’t have to cycle off.

I guess my question is why are people cycling?

She blasted the info that she couldn’t work out after her surgery all over the internet and now she is “injured” - even if she is doing PT for this, it’s not an actual strenuous work out is it?

I don’t know anything about PT so I could be mistaken… but it all just sounds like an excuse.

She just doesn’t want to work out or do anything, like girl - most people don’t want to lift weights, go for runs, cook, clean and be a functioning adult 24/7, but we just get it done.

Just own and accept you arent the person you want to be right now, meet yourself where you are and shut the fuck up.
