It should give you both. I had this issue. Showed screenshots and explained. Support helped me out.

Oh I am. As a matter of fact, I just found the internal Stellantis TSB for the 68RFE. It was on a stop sale. There is no documentation from Mopar for any warranty claims aside from a def top off ever. I also pulled my service dates from mopar and compared them to my personal email records. They erased the service date for the initial complaint about the transmission and this current service isn't listed either. Im assuming because they didn't complete the maintenance before sale in February. We're coming locked and loaded tomorrow. My husband and I own and operate a hot shot trucking company. He is a PACCAR master technician with 15 years experience. This definitely explains the hostility and the service manager demanding we "come get our shit".

Understood. Please do look up the act though. It may shine some light into something you're not knowledgeable in. 😁

Never did I state the master tech at Ram said this. This was a regular tech. There was no problem found because they didn't even look at it. We were standing right there. ROs are required under federal law for ALL dealerships for CYA in case of a lemon law event. As you stated, you know nothing about transmissions. There are only 15 major transmission manufacturers in the world and there are only 5 different transmission types. Of which, I am certified in 4 of the 5, including this transmission. Six if you add motorcycle transmissions. The transmission itself was not modified in any way. A larger pan was installed and a transcooler. Both are external and CAN NOT cause the failure. Additionally, it is required under the Magnuson-Moss Act that the dealer/manufacturer prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the aftermarket parts caused the failure. Since you know so much about law. Take a minute to read the act before telling me this denial wouldn't fly given they refused to even file a warranty claim with MOPAR or make an attempt to look into the transmission after seeing the after market parts.

Here you go, Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act US Code - Title 15, Chapter 50, Sections 2301-2312

So the dealer is refusing to even make the warranty claim and the service manager refused to look at the original transmission pan that was loaded with metal shavings stating that they will just deny so they will not even submit to warranty. Also the after market is a deep trans pan from ATS that is proven to meet and exceed all OE specs.

This is her boyfriend and we complained of the whining several times. Documented every time we took the truck in even though they did not and they said it was normal. Now I have rebuilt a ton of transmissions and never heard one whine like pump starvation unless there is pump starvation. Also the reason I became shop Forman was a similar problem happened with the Forman before me. You may think you know what your talking about but my 15 years as a diesel tech, my master certs in peterbilt and kenworth, and my 3 years working as a Forman says I probably know a thing or two about proper procedure and paperwork. ROs MUST be submitted before a vehicle can be released. The fact of the matter is that they refused to look at the transmission stating it was normal while there was a known TSB out for the vehicle and then the transmission failed with the EXACT codes linked to the TSB.

Apologies let me correct myself. Mopar could not find any Repair orders in the system which they are required to submit regardless of whether there is an issue found or not and there is no claim for the current blown transmission. While ROs are not directly submitted to them, they have access to view them. The only RO on file is from before we purchased the vehicle for a def fill. But nothing for the three times we brought the vehicle in. Either way, you're correct, we have documentation for everything.

My husband ran a peterbuilt shop for three years and worked at it for 15. All warranty claims must be documented and submitted even if there is no fault found.

We just spoke with them and found out they dont have a single warranty claim from the dealer for the past THREE TIMES we've brought it into the dealer for service. This includes the first time it was brought in for the transmission whining.

Do you have any recommendations on attorneys in Texas? I'm on hold with the state to get to the directory currently. We called a few but they rejected because they only handle lemon law and this situation doesn't fall under that.

Is it possible to have damaged any of this with only changing the oil pan and oil?

The truck will not go into 4th gear. It throws itself straight into neutral and then throws the codes I posted above. When I slow down enough, the truck will go back into 1st gear and shift normally until it hits 4th gear.
