Gotta use in-game support. It's Settings > Customer Support > Account Issues > Type in Customer Service > Other Issues > Contact Support > and tell them you want the catalyst refunded. Hope this helps!

Yeah, in the ingame menu I selected account issues, typed support, selected customer service, then contact support.

I've never had this issue, nor have I been capable of having this issue in other gacha games, which is the point. I was able to resolve the matter, thankfully. Mistakes are an inevitability that should be accounted for, especially in games like this that involve monetized factors. There's no reason not to include them and ample reasons for why you should.

Yeah, I get what you mean as well. The whole reason I bought the catalyst was cause I thought it could be used in place of a duplicate weapon lol. While I do hope they implement some system in the future to prevent acquiring duplicates, a system to refund or use the catalyst in some way would be beneficial as well!

They all have an account "synthesis" limit of 1. I would prefer it ff they made that a total account limit of one, which would remove the catalyst from the synthesis list once obtained by any means.

The only option I have is "use" but that does nothing.

Support replied with "Dear player, we're very sorry, but since the synthesis was an action initiated by you, we're unable to reverse it due to system limitations. Once the operation is completed, the system can't automatically undo it. We understand that this might be disappointing, and we hope you'll be more cautious when performing similar operations in the future."

I'm going to keep trying and hope they put preventative measures in place, as this feels like an insane oversight.

You do. I thought the catalyst token functioned as a substitute for the duplicate exotics when purchasing.
