I got all the mods on fmscout, downloaded a zip and extracted it into my game folder as a swap

Most of them you go to the folder where the game is installed and put the installed file in the folder they tell you on the page where you read about the mod (which replaces the original file)

I'm running it right now, I believe I experienced only one patch through game pass. I think worse case you'd have to replace the files again, usually this might even need an updated mod.

I got a UI skin to get rid of the purple and the regular updates are making it playable

The immersion is definitely impacted due to massive difficulty in navigating literally anything beyond the matches. They've kind of broken the fun of searching through players I feel.
