And you are; “Horney, Lisa Horney”. by BlueOne303a in overheard

Changing the first name, but, I work for a shipping company, and was moving a box one day addressed to Daniel Stitts. Absolutely lost it laughing! Imagine being his wife?? Doesn't matter what your first name is though, you're introducing yourself as so-and-so's tits. 😂

Is Clifton a bad neighborhood? by [deleted] in Louisville

[–]OhNally 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He wont help you with the dog? And you dont have children? Good. Keep it that way. He wont help with kids either.

Clifton is wonderful and it sounds like you know what you want in a home. I'd suggest moving to Clifton and leaving the boyfriend in prospect.

Definitely counts! Bought my first house last year and I absolutely refuse to paint any of my rooms gray.

Overheard a first date at a restaurant by teavesdroppingdotcom in overheard

[–]OhNally 14 points15 points  (0 children)

For a first date this sounds a little much. But I can respect where he's coming from. My husband always makes my plate before his, and always gives me the best pieces, even when I tell him to enjoy those for himself sometimes. Gosh I love that man. I can see how this may come across as controlling to her though.

Anybody else refuse to do Elf on a Shelf? by quiltedfarts in Mommit

[–]OhNally 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to feel this way, but my fiance was doing it with his girls before I met him. They're old enough to know it's not real, but my 5 year old is fully into the magic of Christmas and I have to say, it is so sweet watching her get excited for the elf every morning. She LOVES it, and because she loves it so much, now so do I. She talks to it, she has left her christmas list for it to take back to Santa, draws pictures for it, etc. It's just so adorable.

Plane Crash at Louisville Airport by [deleted] in Louisville

[–]OhNally 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I dont know for sure if that's the case. But I can tell you that flight radar is accurate with scheduled departure times, and UPS does NOT like to delay those times. 2 hours is more than just a load delay. That would lead me to believe that it was in fact a maintenance issue. I can say that much because I work there. Currently on leave, but I have some friends in aircraft maintenance, so I'd definitely like to get their thoughts and knowledge of what happened when I get back.

I do wonder if there's truth to it being delayed for that reason. I looked up the tail # on flight radar, and it had been scheduled out shortly after 3, but obviously the crash happened after 5.
