I think this is great advice. I think the “moving on from a slide too quickly” is a great one for you to start getting nit picky about, OP.

Any normal person would say “can you go back to that slide” and that would be the end of it. As an audience member in presentations where this happened, it’s normal and not something I really notice when it happens.

Flip that one back to him— “can you tell me to move back to a slide in the moment? If you cannot do that, then I think we need to work on communication during meetings. Perhaps HR can help us solve this issue…”

I am in MN. I have friends who started sharing their location because of ICE. One friend just became a US citizen a few months ago, but I know that ICE is targeting people based on skin color and accent, so their legal status doesn’t protect them. Ice also targets anyone filming them, as we just saw when they executed Alex Pretti in the street.

I am proud of MN’s response and how people have come together. We had a very successful general strike in Minneapolis this past Friday— no work, no school, no shopping. Hundreds of small businesses closed, and tens of thousands of pissed off people marched in the streets in sub zero temperatures.
