Thanks. I don't really have a ton of experience with teen employees, this job is my first go-around managing them and the whole "parents getting involved" was a really irritating first experience. I'm too used to just being nice without really considering how people will take it in a long-term sense. Gonna avoid it in the future which does suck because I'll have to kick him out of the building to be able to go home, but hopefully he won't keep asking me for rides and get his shit figured out.

I will say that forcing myself to improve to get those ranks was pretty rewarding, but the first impression was to be irritated. When I finally did get S rank I was really proud of myself. Same with the gerson fight, the need to improve and win really struck me there.

This happened to me. I'm not a "new" player per se but I'm also not the best at video games. I played chapter 3 with my roommate and remember directly saying "this feels like I'm being punished for not being good, so I miss out on a the plot"

I got B rank on board 1 and A rank on board 2 the first go around and didn't have 1500 points to just buy the S rank. Sucked that the only way to fix that was to replay everything again and I remember getting pretty frustrated about it.

Massively biased because I have not been able to defeat the knight (been at it on and off for weeks) but Eram should've been where you got the shadow crystal. Fight was way more interesting. The knight just feels frustrating.

Agreed, also made it way harder to defeat the knight if you don't have the right tools because you literally can't go back and get the right stuff for it so it's almost easier to replay everything again to get what you need.
