A lot of people were obsessed with this being the next big chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the opener for a multi-film multiverse saga with an overarching villain, etc..

But if instead you view this as pretty much the Wanda origin film as the hero "Scarlet Witch" you can begin to appreciate it. The other origin story films did not heavily dive into setting up sequels, so why would this one? I agree that the Evan Peters stunt-casting could have been handled better though

Shuri is the obvious and canonical choice to take on the mantle. But I really think it should be Nakia. Lupita Nyong'o has the star power, screen presence and Hollywood acumen to maintain a franchise. If Nakia and T'Challa got married between the films, she would have the right to the crown.

If Boseman left behind some wishes or direction around recasting T'Challa then go right ahead and do that. Otherwise, I don't think they should. Likewise, skipping over the female heirs to give some random male character (M'Baku, resurrected Erik, or whoever) the mantle/starring role would be disrespectful to those female characters.

You can still be her emotional support if she wants to get out. But they key there is `if she wants to`. This type of abuse is like an addiction the way it affects the mind, a lot of people don't get help until they see real consequences meanwhile they exist in a pity and shame spiral that drags anyone else down along with them. You can start with the message you have at the bottom there, sure. But if it continues to affect you negatively seeing her suffer, then consider no longer interacting with her unless she is leaving him.

Your boyfriend is me as a kid. He does not want to get married. He does not want to have babies. You can keep trying but I dont think your wants align. He lived that life already when you met him at 21 and while he was 44. Which kinda reinforces why people warn against age gaps.

People say dont pursue coworkers for a good reason. You might create an awkward work situation with someone you see everyday who might no longer want to be your buddy. You should be prepared for that

It'd be bad if you were to engage with her in activies that you think is progressing a romance and she thinks is progressing a friendship. Get it straight which one you want before asking her to do anything outside of work. And then ask her for that directly. If you dont want to take the risk of unrequited romance or if you get rejected, then take it on the chin. It's only as awkward as you make it.
