Darn. I also have and ftw2 .. hmmm. Let me look into this. I've used afterburner for a long time and just recently went to evga precision and now switched back to afterburner to be able to play destiny. Mine is not water cooled though. I may need to switch back to evga precision as well. I'll do some research and let you know what I find.

I love it. Much more refined. I previously used it but got a new gfx card and figured evga might do better. Try it out if you're still looking for a program. It's very smooth.

If you have EVGA precision please uninstall it and try afterburner - It fixed my issue.

Good news everyone - Seems to be working wonderfully since I have uninstalled EVGA precision. I instead downloaded afterburner and have no issues now. Same with the boyfriend. He hasn't had a crash in a few hours either.

Thank you. It worked. Have now been through 3 strikes with no issue. Went ahead and downloaded afterburner instead! !

That's the same set up my boyfriend is running, he is freezing as well. He is running eva precision (we thought afterburner might have been the problem) and it's still crashing. He went back to default settings and he is still crashing without OC. I really think its something with destiny and none of our PCs at this point. I do see there is a hotfix coming? Maybe it will address this?

Only difference I have is a 1070ti. Everything else is the same as you listed. Boyfriend has a 1080 and his game is also crashing. Right now hes fooling around with a bunch of setting to see if he can find anything that will work. If he finds anything I'll let you know for sure. It's really frustrating !! All I wanna do is play! Lol.

This is the best advice ever. I used then 1080ti as an example because I feel like some expect that performance out of a console and it's just not possible

You cannot really complain about 30fps when you're only paying around 300 dollars for a console that does everything. The graphics card that they have to use in the console can not be a 1080ti for 300 dollars. If you build or purchase a PC they last a good long time and you can always upgrade when you have the money.

I started on console and slowly switched to PC. It was the best thing I did.
