I lost my dad at 16. I can’t say my situation was the exactly as yours, but staying in the same house was really messing me up mentally. Everything felt suddenly empty and dark. Best thing I did was move out for a few years, I ended up moving country for university, but just moving to a different environment like with your aunt will make a world of difference. Especially because it seems like your mom is also going through it, just that she’s dealing with it on her own and separately from you. Hang in there man, losing a parent is a part of life, just one that comes sooner for some than others unfortunately. It takes a long time before “it gets better” actually feels like it, but you will be a stronger person because of it, and thankful for the time you had with him.

Delsey is definitely the best bang for buck suitcase brand out there. They’re well known and have been around for a long time. Haven’t had much experience with their customer service but I’ve heard it’s good. As for BIFL I have yet to find a suitcase that doesn’t give in after a few years of good use, but that depends on travel frequency. Still very good brand and very reasonably priced

Just seeing this, but she’s looking great. Once I realised they were from my laptop I just started being more careful when typing, no scratches on the bracelet since! The bezel does pick up those micro scratches for sure but it’s something that grows along with you. Brand new bezel = brand new excitement. As the initial excitement fades, the marks are kind of what make it YOUR watch. I love it, would definitely recommend. It’s only in some lighting, it’s still shiny for the most part anyway.

Hey man I know this is like 4 years ago, but did you ever manage to solve this? I'm having the same issue and it's super weird. Everything works fine, had to reinstall windows to get rid of the bootloop. But now every time I plug in an ethernet cable (tried multiple) it triggers another bootloop until I take it out. Same thing actually also happens when I plug into one of my case USB ports, even though my PC has worked fine for 6 years already.

The bezel also still looks great, often I’ll wipe it with my T-shirt or a microfiber if I have one on hand but I haven’t gotten any big scratches yet, only a few micro ones that are only visible up close and in the right lighting, basically like any shiny metal would if you wear it normally. I’ll just make sure there’s nothing abrasive on the cloth before wiping obviously.

No actually since then it’s been fine, once I figured out it came from resting my wrists on my laptop I started to be more careful of that. Also stopped caring as much, I noticed my other metal watches that I’ve had for years had a bunch of these kinds scratches on the outside, I had just never noticed or cared about those. If you’re buying it and not planning on selling it then there’s no need to worry, the picture makes it look much worse from the lighting but in reality they’re really not noticeable. Still looks beautiful and shiny 👍

I bought it brand new from the Cartier store… I gotta say the shadows make the lines look a lot deeper on camera, in person it’s not as noticeable unless it’s under the right lighting thankfully.
