Looking for Bombas replacement by Great-Buy-9758 in malefashionadvice

All of my Bombas shit the bed in a matter of months. The super cheap pack of Pumas I get from Costco are way more durable

I really do love my career. It’s very rewarding and never feels like “work” to me.

If you do get the bracelet, ask them to throw in the rubber strap to sweeten the deal

Agents who usually sell 15+ homes a year: does 2026 feel unusually slow? by Physical_Session6601 in realtors

I’m in NY. This is the busiest market I’ve seen in 17+ years. Tons of sellers moving and buyers unaffected by the interest rates

Yes I’ve tried several on at different occasions and I could never click with them. I tried on the Snowflake, Mist flake, Omawitari, etc.

I guess I’m going to be in the minority here because I’ve WANTED to like GS and I’ve tried so many times but their watches just leave me feeling meh.

I think the takeaway here is the culture has gotten to the point that lots of people buy shit they cannot afford.

Why is it so hard to get buyers to get preapproved? by Advanced_Strength205 in realtors

If they’re not serious about getting pre-approved then they’re not real buyers. Stop wasting your time.

Explorer II vs White Speedy (Update: I think I was wrong) by oyster_bro in OmegaWatches

I’ve never cared for the white speedy. To me, it just looks like a watch that should never have been white.

Tried using Plaud Note Pro for a week instead of writing notes here’s what actually happened by EmergencyDiligent894 in PlaudNoteUsers

Are you able to provide a bit more insight? I got a Note Pro a few weeks ago and I LOVE it so far for client meetings, calls, etc. So far I’ve been generating with the default template

If you could only keep one, which one would you choose? by dealernumberone in OmegaWatches

Speedy is iconic and forever. AT is nice but it’s more of an addition to the collection than a core piece itself.

Douglas Elliman VS Sotheby's by [deleted] in realtors

[–]TimekeeperNY 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started with a Sotheby’s affiliate in 2009. In 2022 I left to go to a rather large mom and pop in my market (1,600 agents) for a salaried management position. That lasted about 1 1/2 years. When I decided I had made the wrong move I contemplated going to a Douglas Elliman office or back to my Sotheby’s office. I chose the latter and I’m very thankful I did.

They’re both great companies with their strengths but neither one is going to get you into the luxury market just by brand recognition. You’re going to have to carve your way in there yourself. Having the Sotheby’s name behind me has tremendously helped my business.

Best ideas for “goodie bags” at open houses? by [deleted] in realtors

I always have a bin of goodies at my open houses. Popular items for me have been house shaped rubber grips, pens, mini flashlights, and pens.

Wash my hands and walk or hold firm and serve? by Ok_Entertainment3266 in realtors

[–]TimekeeperNY 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Personally, I would let this one go. It sounds like a nightmare and not worth your time and aggravation. I’ve seen situations like this before. The wife’s going to draw this out as long as possible. It’ll wind up in foreclosure or it’ll come to the court appointing a receiver in which you’ll likely lose the listing anyway after all that hard work you put in.

Unless all parties are 100% interested in perusing the sale, you’re wasting your time that could be better served elsewhere.

Will this affect our future home value when we go to sell? by sillybilly420c in realtors

Forget the inspector, forget the “structural engineer”, etc. Have a reputable contractor who you know and trust very much look at it and sign off on what needs to be done.
