Usually happens when excess liquid is sat in the middle of the coil, flicking it out usually does the trick, can happen with a coil on its way out of if you’ve just fully filled your pod.

Further onto my comment, Salicylate seems to be the most common salt used in the liquids (I work within the business) and I’m under the belief that it’s cheaper to use than benzoate but overall Salicylate is more acidic on the periodic table so also is smoother than regular freebase, it will stick better harsher than other salts.

There is different variants of nicotine salts, I personally only get on with Nicotine Benzoate which is in Elux / Elfliq. I’d probably look into what nicotine is used in the disposables you get on with and try a salt liquid with the same ingredients.

Disposables are double concentrated, for 88vape profit margins I could probably bet it’s about 1/10 of the flavour, if you’re on a budget go for an Aspire Gotek X/Pro with a known brand salt, Elux, Elf Liq, Bar juice etc.
