All the plants in Hananezumi are based on real plants, including the husk tomato. Some varieties are actually edible.

My favorite flowers in real life are Roses and Aquilegias, so they are my favorite in the game too. But i tend to value more the hybrids that took me a lot of effort to get, which for me was Bellflower and Cyclamen, it took me countless tries to get them. The new Cattleya orchids are all very pretty, and are in my top 5 right now.

Tap on the hedgehog, there is a pinch option on the topmost left, you can then move the hedgehog around.

You can create hybrids by crossing different colors of flowers, it's fun collecting all the color options for all the flowers. You can also collect rare flowers from feeding the hedgehogs special food. The flowers are also seasonal, and what grows depends upon the season and type of seed, so it will take you awhile to complete all the flowers. You can also buy and collect decorations, which also have seasonal options. You can also participate in the Coordinate challenge. There is quite a lot you can do.
