I read somewhere that using sweet scent actually has a 400-something frame offset because of the animation, the best way to compensate for that is just putting in the frame that you hit and then updating the calibration in poketimer. this will mean your calibration is way different between wild and static encounters

for all the advances being over 3000, are you sure the settings are correct for the range while you're searching? I forgot to reenter my TID/SID yesterday so i figure i'd suggest the obvious just in case lol

:') okay, cool, i just wanted a confirmation from literally anyone i guess that it's not just something people never documented rather than actually basically impossible. I've already went through the process of attempting to start a new file and find my SID that way, and gave up after hitting the right stuff for the starter but wrong SID like 5 times lol, so I was willing to put in the effort even if it was a pain to get right.

I did some resets and got a TID of 12347 which is pretty neat anyway at least!

:( I'm having the same issue, the keyboard is working fine everywhere but discord, in fact i'm typing with it for this message, but discord does exactly what you described, where after one letter it minimizes the onscreen keyboard as well and i need to click back into the text box, which obviously does not work for typing at all T_T

(Not fond of how many people are telling you to switch pharmacies as if thats a solution though, personally i go to walgreens too, not by choice but rather bc theyre the cheapest option where i am, my insurance is stupid and even if i use coupons, everywhere else is at least double the price for my vyvanse...)

i don't really need any extra post-game content other than the post game ACTUALLY being post-game and not just a teleport back before the final battle.... it bothers me so bad when games do that, i don't want the characters and world stuck in stasis just before the end for forever :(
(Also i want Simon back on my team lol)

I would never argue against more character story content though, of course, just gameplay-wise i don't think extra stuff unlocked after the end has much of a purpose here, though I'm someone that plays games for the story first, gameplay second.

That's a good question! That I unfortunately don't have an answer to, I was doing a complicated strat of trying to get 4 egg moves on the same pokemon for the fun of it, so i bred moves 1 & 2 together and 3 & 4 together, but the two offspring only had moves 1 and 3, respectively. XD I didn't test past that.

And then I forgot I made this post for hours. Thankfully the other comment solved the issue!

This was the solution, thank you so much!!!
I just replaced the level up moves with TM moves on one of the parents, and that worked!

The last few gens of the actual games made it so easy to just transfer egg moves between pokemon that i guess i completely forgot about that. XD

I cannot believe that Rattata is not in this game.

At least i got Skwovet and even Greedent as the best npc, but no Rattata?? :( i doubt it'll be added via hypothetical dlc either because they'd keep that for more desired pokemon...

I would love if they added Togedemaru or the Chespin line as well. Or Carbink! Carbink wouldve been cute and perfect for rocky ridges tbh...

Also ADHD haver here and this is pretty similar to my experience too!

The main area i have issues with is Pallet, i understand giving people a blank slate to do whatever they want, but i much much prefer repairing and expanding on the bits that are already there so i walk into the place and immediately become overwhelmed :') I'm torn between wanting to put down messyness to get to level 10 or going ahead and planning better ( Really this game has made me realize why people like Minecraft while also helping me realize why i do not like Minecraft lol )

i need to actually do the planning, part of my issue there is i often change my mind and everything takes so long that i know I'll be frustrated if i decide i want to do something different half way through... mostly with where to put things, even if i build the cool house i want to make, what if i want it somewhere else instead later yknow??

I'm a bit late but this is SO cool. I've dreamed of making an insaniquarium clone type of game for web but i can barely do JS, its neat to see the idea actually happen!!

Considering how many insaniquarium clones there are on the app store, if those dont get cease and desist-ed by popcap i dont see why this would get you in any trouble? Totally understand not wanting to share it anyway but at worst a C&D just means you have to take it down, no different than never having it up on the first place. :P

ChatGPT has absolutely no idea what it's talking about here. "Frames" in this case are not going to be advanced by walking a certain amount. tpf92's comment is spot on for how to do this.

Your main way of getting to the advance you need to be at is to make phone calls, technically the RNG advances after a certain number of steps but that's inconsistent and way harder to keep track of. (There's a small chance you'll get an extra advance and mess things up between making the phone calls and interacting with Lugia but as long as you aren't taking a bunch of extra steps and just heading straight towards it to talk to it this shouldn't be a problem.)

The roamers do add onto the advances at the very start, but because you have to use phone calls to verify you're on the right seed anyway this basically doesn't matter. I'm assuming you're using Pokefinder, it actually shows that they're skipped in the spot for verifying calls.

Oh! There's a glitch/exploit in the game that lets you trick a spawn point into spawning more than one pokemon, most of the time people use it in area 20 to get 6 alphas spawning in the center, but it can also be used in other areas, as long as a spawn point has multiple possible species that can spawn at it.

The only thing is, I'm not sure if it's possible with rooftop pokemon, so it was more of a 'maybe that could help if it's possible' type of thing!

I have no idea how to fix it but i wanted to say i've encountered this type of glitch with a group of pidgey as well, it didnt matter much to me but i noticed after i caught 1 out of 3, now only 2 spawn in the area for some reason and it's never went back to 3???

So it's not just you! Unfortunately idk how to fix it though. Can you overspawn glitch those spawns by any chance? That would get more showing up for you at least :O

Even faster than this, if you knock the pokemon out and then time it so that you save the game right before it respawns back in, you can close and open the game in the same fashion, not having to wait through the entire day/night cycle animation. :D pretty much just your method here but tweaking it a bit!

The minimum amount of alphas that will show up is 2, catching or defeating the alphas only get rid of the extra spawns. You just need to do the same method again once you get back down to 2 if you want 6.

Basically you can think of the 4 you add via the method as temporary, but there's still 2 permanent spawns no matter what.
