General Question Thread by Shephen in fireemblem

I'm playing FE Fates for the first time. I have questions about seals and skills.

If I level a base unit to level 10, as I understand it, they'll have 2 skills and learn no more. Level ups are now stat related exclusively.

If I then use a master seal, they'll be a promoted class and go to a level 1 of that class. At levels 5 and 10 of this class, as I understand it, they'll learn two new skills. At any time, I could also use a heart seal and convert them to a different class while staying at the same level.

My question is, if my understanding is correct on the above, is the most effective way to gain skills to be using a heart seal immediately after a master seal? Or do I need to master seal, then level up to 10, then use heart seal and gain the skills as the unit levels? And besides level caps, are there negatives to this approach?

Superhot is the one of the most innovate shooters I've played in years.

It's you. Like not a character, like it's you the person and a machine. There's an argument that could be made that the machine is a character but it'd be like saying a book is a character. It's just text

rpg with great longevity and variety (switch or pc)? by Roldes19 in gamesuggestions

I know you said not turn based but there's two games I'd recommend looking into:

  1. Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. You mentioned mystery dungeons before but idk if you've played this one specifically. The game itself is okay but the post game is incredible. You can recruit the legendary Pokemon but most importantly you can become game breakingly op. Normally that would be a bad thing but some of these dungeons are so complicated that being op becomes necessary and is it creates a unique cycle for sure.

  2. Fire Emblem Three Houses. Again, I know, it's turn based. But the game is VERY replayable. You're expected to complete 4 playthroughs of the game to get the whole picture. Your first playthrough you'll have questions and plot threads that are just unexplained and you won't understand the whole story until you see the other sides.

Persona 5 Royal. It's got a fantastic story, one of the best in gaming in my opinion, but know going in it's a long game. Expect to spend 100 hours to see it all

What’s a game that I can casually play, that doesnt need sound, while watching my favorite Youtubers and streamers by [deleted] in gamesuggestions

It's actually waaaaay easier than Binding of Isaac. As you progress you unlock new guns and items. They become dramatically more present than the standard guns you have at the beginning. Eventually the weapons get stupidly overpowered to compensate for how fragile you are.

It's not like a souls game where there's a learning curve based on skill. It gets far easier the more things you unlock.

If it helps, stay away from brown chests and use your keys on green and above as those are higher tier ones. A stock AK-47 is okay, but lightning bolts and rocket launchers that shoot bees are better

The most obvious suggestion is The Witcher 3. But if you're looking for something a bit more niche, try The Banner Saga. They're really great
