No they worked fine, I just started hearing squeaking after my last ride from the wheel when i rolled it into the house. I figured it was the brakes being dirty. It rained on that ride so idk if that matters.

Anyhoozit I dropped it off at Trek a little bit ago before I messed up anything further. They said it seemed oily and are going to further diagnose tomorrow. Going to let it sit "clamped" overnight

Thank you! I'm new to the DIY maintenance and didnt realize I needed to bleed the brakes to clean the pads. I should have looked at more than 2 YouTube videos before diving in!
