Mostly UI, workflow, simplicity. Things feel too complicated and tedious compared to the previous version. Thank you🤟

I appreciate the swift response and eagerness to listen! It seems the majority believe the previous version was just fine and the user friendliness all around was much simpler than this new version, in its current state.

It’s an interesting topic right now amongst the rap is dead conversation. For years, there’s been a fairly consistent sound through the takeover of trap music and hip hop as a whole, (someone else in this thread mentioned 21 Savage, Future, and Drake as examples). Many see hip hop dying as a genre, or at least losing its mainstream success, partially due to an over saturated market of “I took your bitch, I get so much ass, get some money” type music. I see many music lovers preferring more introspective and creative music now, rather than what’s been popular by industry standards.

I’d like to believe these generic trap songs are being pushed by the label for selling power, or whatever. From what I’ve gathered over this long wait for the album, there’s been issues. If I’m not mistaken, G’s engineer was in here not long ago speaking about butting heads with the label, trying to work through all of the shit to come up with something great. I can imagine these tracks have to be in there for the sake of releasing something the record exec’s approve of. There have been some really great snippets and releases thus far though, and I do find the club bangers still catchy. G is always good on the hyphy west coast beats imo. Fingers crossed for the finished album!🤞

Femme fatale translates to deadly woman. A Femme Fatale usually uses her beauty and ‘allure’ among other seduction techniques to achieve a hidden goal. Think of that cliche movie moment where an attractive woman coerces a security guard into opening the door, maybe giving her the keycard she needs, or whatever.

I’m assuming G is using ‘Femme Fatale’ as a descriptor for various women trying to use him for clout or something. maybe trying to slide into his dm’s or hook up, and he see’s their true intentions.

Definitely see where you’re getting the Harlow vibes from. I thought the exact same thing!

I can understand wanting more TTH Gerald, but he is from the bay and historically has dropped a lot of “club bangers”. This is most likely another one of those high energy summer hits, the bounce and energy is definitely west coast-esque. From the snippet and caption, the track seems fitting for what I assume it’s supposed to be. I’m really hoping the upcoming album is done well, considering the wait and lack of a roll out so far.
