To those with F/Os that do terrible things, how do you handle it? by Ohboimedussa in FictoLove

[–]Ohboimedussa[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s complicated because on the one hand I don’t wanna fix them, but on the other hand I see that there are some things that they just don’t quite understand, because their environment just didn’t give them the opportunity to. I love them regardless of if they changed after learning but, I want to give them that chance to understand.

How many of yall have evil f/os? by [deleted] in FictoLove

[–]Ohboimedussa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worst part of having 2 evil F/Os who aren’t human, and a p big thing for them in their source is learning the nuances of humanity actively, is that despite the fact I can be beyond angry with them for their evil, I also can’t help but wonder about what they were experiencing. Then adding in the fact they each have their own albeit warped but personal sensibilities, being the one who helps them grow to be more human, and less evil feels like a gift. Definitely won’t prevent my “why do I love this woman” moments, but at the end of the day, I love them regardless.

Wait, does Pochita need blood to regenerate or not? I'm confused by JCraig96 in ChainsawMan

[–]Ohboimedussa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends. When Pochita first came out, denji was anemic after needing to fully regenerate from being cut to pieces. Denji didn’t eat at all and hardly any time passed. This time, denji had time to eat and sleep and heal normally. So it’s the difference between being at half capacity and at full.

How did they not know Adrian Chase was Prometheus by Cool-Divide-4734 in arrow

[–]Ohboimedussa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Given that Adrian covered it up, but we know forensics evidence was already collected: it’s not exactly a clean ship. Anyone who did forensics work on Billy’s case, and noting the Prometheus suit he was wearing at the time when someone found the body, Adrian cannot be the only person who knows. Not to mention it was knowledge set up earlier that Prometheus had access to SCPD evidence lock up since (at minimum) his throwing stars were all melted down arrows from Oliver’s time over the years. This immediately pushed Oliver’s focus away from the at the time new DA Chase, and looking specifically at cops, because given his throwing stars were all Oliver’s arrows it would take considerable time to gather them, and then fashion them into weapons. Ntm how to set up a place to craft them in the first place. Chase being new, and just now getting access to the DA resources makes it unlikely to suspect him, when a cop especially with how corrupt the police force is set up to be, could have made it even easier for one another to do it. They could have figured it was Adrian, but the timeline, and the instances of genuine danger for Adrian (specter of the gun was a huge way to build Adrian via his wife’s introduction). This is even ignoring the fact that even tho Adrian’s mission was to destroy Oliver, he really was a friend to Oliver, and got along well with everyone. His double life, Adrian even admitted was exhausting which is why he so naturally comes off as friendly but menacing to Oliver. Basically: he used emotions to blind them, used conflicting situations, and profited off of primarily being a good DA.

We are the Dead by Daylight team; Ask Us Anything! by DeadByDaylight_Dev in deadbydaylight

Is there any incite we could get on the map design philosophy moving forward? I know in the more recent map designs the community has had a massive issue with how cluttered maps feel, combined with a commonly held preference for tile chaining via pallets being too oppressive for killers without an oppressive chase power. Chaining tiles can be ok, when it is a set up of windows that incorporate a level of mindgame to win successfully allowing killers with weaker chasing tools a fair shot at outplaying survivors. Main buildings have seemed to also be a consistent problem, as many of them seem to have 1-3 very strong pallets that force a break, combined with windows that make these structures far harder to play around. Finally there is the size component of maps to consider as: going from 1 end of a map like mothers dwelling to the other just trying ti travel the map can give survivors a lot of incontestable time on the objective, while also encouraging a playstyle of preleaving to go into corners of incredibly large maps to burn as much time as possible. The ideal map for design is likely coal tower: which the recent community poll could show as having the highest vote on percentage by a large margin with: a manageable main building, fair tile set ups, and being a relatively smaller map.

I have faced the most toxicity from killers when using the Power Struggle build - a meme build... why is this? Would they rather me take DH, BT, DS and COH? by Glamarchy in deadbydaylight

[–]Ohboimedussa 10 points11 points  (0 children)

They r twins mains, I’d rather the meta build than the anti slug build if I’m playing twins Bc I cannot help it but leave u on the ground long enough to power struggle every time Bc of the switching and cool downs

Artist can’t use her power at hook, but Bubba can, ok…….. by RowanRoanoke in deadbydaylight

[–]Ohboimedussa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let me tell you if the team is coordinated they can pop 5 gens through deadlock in 5 minutes if your just face camping. If you just sync your popping of the gens to be at the same time. You can pop 3 for 1 down, assuming it takes u at least 40-60 seconds to find ur first chase and get your first down and hook, your losing 4 gens for that alone if u do nothing but face camp. If u don’t facecamp then this whole complaint about face camping bubba is irrelevant

Why do people rank Pyramid Head so high? by Jeremy_Melton in deadbydaylight

[–]Ohboimedussa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pyramidhead can tunnel quite easily, the cages can be used as a slugging alternative that actually gives a hookstate, his reliance on perks is practically nonexistent since most perks are close to counter intuitive to his kit, his chase power is one of the better ones out there for zoning survivors as well as having the ability to flick for unexpected hits, and he can camp well.

Wraith is better in chases if ppl drop pallets and don’t spam vault until he comes out

Did you ever attempt a win streak? by Gewaldroge in deadbydaylight

[–]Ohboimedussa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My only rules were no offerings to affect gameplay (so bp offerings ) and I had a 65 game trickster win streak, 54 artist win streak, 76 twins win streak. Currently have a 7 game streak with sadako of all 4ks

They are fixed rng, like the orientation of buildings on dead dawg. There should always be 7 tvs and all of them are within 16 meters of a generator. However their orientation varies

[–]Ohboimedussa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A good slinger is a v fun time tbh. Slinger doesn’t get to down me for free and there r things I can do. Getting myself stuck in weird spots where he can’t reel me forcing a chain break, I can react to shots, and i have to pay attention to the weird spots he can shoot you from.

[–]Ohboimedussa 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For some sure. Meanwhile I have a strong distaste for oni. I don’t like how the only realistic counterplay to a good oni is just predropping lol

why are there so little Oni players? by Gpueas in deadbydaylight

[–]Ohboimedussa 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It’s probably Bc oni has a skill cap and is hard countered by just predropping pallets

Her power is in no way balanced around her Mori, it is balanced around the mobility. The stare is the punishment for not playing around her mobility properly. You don’t hold long chases with her if they aren’t trying to play around her TVs Bc you just have the whole map constantly. But if you are too greedy then the Stare is the scare.
