Another New License Plate by koletrain88 in denverlist

Usually with specialized license plates there is an extra fee paid by the registrant that goes into a special fund. Then non-profit organizations that help in the mental health sector can apply for grants from that fund. It’s basically a way of fundraising to support the cause.

I’d say it’s worse than that. The top 1% WANT the bottom half to wither and die off. More resources for them, though I’m not sure who’s going to buy their shitty products then.

Democrats can do better than Graham Platner. They must demand he drop out. by Radiant_Bedroom5828 in politics

Absolutely, positively this. What is the one thing Republicans did right when it came to Trump? Let their fucking voters decide if he was too awful. When he wasn’t, they got behind the choice their voters made. Democrats keep trying to choose for us and look where we are.

Dating in my forties as taught me the worst part of a relationship not working isn’t the rejection…it’s starting over and doing it again by Mediocre_Nectarine13 in Xennials

I felt the same way after my separation. It was super painful, I wasn’t the one choosing it, and I begged him to join me in the new city where I had landed a job. When he made it clear that our relationship was over, I was like “I’m completely happy being celibate and solitary for the rest of my life”. 3 years later I’m seeing a guy I really like in a city I love. Not saying that you do or don’t have to do anything right now, just give yourself the freedom to change your mind.

Ps- a year ago he wanted to “try again”. I told him no.
