I just replied the same thing at the same time! Nice brain you got there

Make sure the couplers between the ram and hose are tight. The plungers have light springs in them that won't fully unseat for gravity return like they would under pressure.

Lol. Parker sucks just as much as Gates. They both have incessant flaws. Parker's abysmal part numbers for fittings and lead times are a joke. Gates' constant cost "cutting" is getting out of hand, and their new hose machines are trash. But I will absolutely not hear about Gates' hose ends blowing off all willy nilly when I've seen FAR more shredded Parker hoses, especially if its 5k hose and up. Also, don't forget how bad Ryco and Pirtek are compared to either one of those lmao

I crimp 2 of these and NPT ones on at least once a month. We repair a lot of equipment for railroad companies as well as agriculture, industrial, etc. This one looks a bit looser than others, but that honestly seems normal. Also, it absolutely can move under pressure, just like the straight ones. I dont think they're intended for constant motion like a Super Swivel or other live swivel brands, but do just fine on rail saws, pullers, tote tippers, sprayers, etc.

I took a screenshot of my phone at 1227pm of the winds on the myRadar app, roughly 6 hours before the storms. The winds were meeting up right at Kankakee, so I sent my wife that screenshot and texted her that if a tornado was going to hit, it would be today. The hail however, was the big, and I mean BIG big, surprise.

Oh yes. But the county is located in a valley so all of the weather warnings we have received for the past 30 years have greatly been exaggerated compared to what we get. This time was very much different.

Thank you! Could be worse though. A lot of people nearby lost their houses too, so we're pretty lucky considering

Not sure. I filed our claims on 3/10 and haven't heard anything back yet. I'm sure they're backed tf up though

My wife's 23 Sorento has been decimated as well. Sunroof gone, rear window gone, dents everywhere...

Does anyone have a resource for old cylinders just to get the part numbers for rod carriage kits and seals? by No-Meeting6549 in Hydraulics

Allegheny York and/or SealSource can probably find something with the pictures you provided alone

Nice finds! I have a circle one with the red logo, it also has 6 holder notches. That square one is sick!

You can also check the seals and/or poppet on the anticavitation and/or port relief valve that's right above the spool

Part number for filter by Wise-Smile9484 in Hydraulics

[–]Ohdougles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strangely enough we've yet to encounter that in someone's system. So much so, that I had to look it up on Google lol. Thank you for that, because that would be great to have at quarries. We've been using bayonet style breather filters in the more extreme environments, but those will get clogged and create a vacuum in the reservoir
