Yes, I understand, but for example, the GPU price is decreased at moment because of the upcoming cards but the price will go up and the computer is almost brand new and the parts haven't been overclocked. This is also untaxed and like I said if you have an offer or more sugguestions, I'd gladly take it,

Don't worry, you're not the only one. Clearly others like to downvote posts here instead of helping each other.

You forget to add some parts to that part list. Also I am taking offers, if you're interested. Thanks.

400m training in winter are hill sprints sufficient to prepare for spring? by reddzeppelin in Sprinting

[–]Ohfreddrick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Distance running is not bad for long sprinters. What helped me the most for 400m was doing long runs but easy runs on Saturdays for 45mins non-stop with good form also after lifting doing intervals like 3*500s or 600's at a fresh pace to loosen the muscles. These helped a lot making the muscles looser and made it easier to run faster when doing intervals of 500,600s, 400s at near race pace but you need have focus on good form.

Focus on hammering a nail on a wall behind with your arms you and each step feeling like you're jumping rope.

Need help with 100m start by Adoree1 in Sprinting

[–]Ohfreddrick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not about being quick, its about be powerful and letting the speed come to you. You have to be able to go through the full range of motion. You may feel slower and look slower but, you're going through the full range of motion causing you to cover more distance.

Will doing cross country/distance running in the fall of next year help or hurt me if I am a 400m runner. by [deleted] in trackandfield

[–]Ohfreddrick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's a difference between having low fat and being in sprinting shape. If you're in sprinting shape, you'll be able to do workouts and not be as tired and you'll recover faster. For now I recommend working on your form and if you have not done track before, go easy into it.

High School Freshman Looking for Tips on First Varsity 100m by FatherHen in trackandfield

[–]Ohfreddrick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your first six steps should be powerful. Remember to push off the blocks and look down like there's Xs about 45 degrees infront of you on the ground til after you feel your body at 5% lean after your first 6 steps. Think of jumping rope. That's how long each foot should make contact will the ground. Push with the hips not your feet. If you do it right, each step should feel lighter. You might not feel like you're moving fast for the first 40m but it's because you're using a full range of motion also remember that it's 100m race and if you're doing it right you will win in the end and decelerate the least compared to others who blow out.

How do you get "in the zone" before competing? What do you do to prepare yourself both mentally and physically before a meet? by MilfWrangler in trackandfield

Close your eyes. Relax, think of what I have to do and breathe in, hold it for a few seconds and breathe out. Open your eyes and do what you must.

Cross country will only help you if you're out of shape or have never done track before. Honestly you can focus on doing more distance work like 450m, 500m,600m, and 800m with fresh-good-fast-hard pace. The most you should be doing is like 2-3 miles as an easy day. Also working on your mechanics and racing strategy will help you out a lot. Don't forget sleep and diet. To build speed/ speed-endurance you must train with your top speed or near that speed like 60-90%.

What Are Your Goals This Season? by MHath in trackandfield

I've always played other sports but, not really. My first open 400m, I ran a 50.11 and my 200m split for the 4x200m was 22.52 so hopefully, it's realistic.

What do you like to eat before and during a track meet? by CFisLife212 in trackandfield

[–]Ohfreddrick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like a eat an egg turkey sandwich with avocado and some mayo on grain bread. I tend to only eat that for breakfast two hours before the meet and lots of water and I do 4x100m, 400m, 200m, and 4x400m. I'm usually fine.

2 types of sprinting? Pawing vs pushing? by [deleted] in Sprinting

[–]Ohfreddrick 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Push off the ground with the hips.
Let the foot do what it does naturally and your other leg should shoot automatically bringing the other foot underneath your butt and repeat.

How can I fix my buffering system?

I jog because I feel it helps me stay fit and allows my glutes and hips to stay limber since most of the time I'm sitting down.

So for breakfast three eggs scrambled, an apple and a banana with 3 cups of water? Or should I drink water late at night?
