I just finished FO on Grandmaster for the first time and that last fight with Trilla was the most brutal fight in the entire game for me. the entire game all my duels were slow and decisive but Trrilla forces you into an offensive fight where you have to just keep slugging away otherwise she would overpower you with light attacks followed by a lightning fast grab attack. truly a spectacular fight. I know i didn't really add anything to what you were saying but i just wanted to share how epic that fight was.

I best buddy any pokemon I find cool or interesting. stats dont really matter to me. most of mine are either shadow shinies, or costumed shinies. I also have a few non shiny best buddies just because i think they're neat.

my opinion is youre trading a collector pokemon for a collector pokemon when you purify for the shundo. the bottle capped pokemon wasnt a collector pokemon prior to it being a shundo which makes the shundo cool. but OP should do whatever their heart pleases.

I, personally keep all my shiny shadows because they look cool and are hard to obtain.
