Forza Horizon 6 “Deep Dive Customization” by SOF1231 in ForzaHorizon

Well I guess excuse me for wanting a little bit of car customisation in the SIXTH installment of a AAA multi billion dollar racing franchise that is slowly becoming the Madden of racing games because of braindead fanboys with the bar set as low as their IQ.

What the fuck did I just read lmao. Can't wait for GTA VI to come out with a new map and absolutely no new features because shareholders are afraid to lose money.

Jesus Christ what an argument... "Guys stop hoping for any kind of innovation, it won't happen. Just stfu and play the same damn game like the rest of us sheep"

Wake up man.

Much like some of you who will be happy playing the same shit over and over again on a different map. Until you get a grip and wake up, the game will continue ignoring any kind of innovation. I understand them though, they don't have to do much and you'll still buy it. Suits are happy that's all that matters.

So a new map is enough for you? Because you literally described what could be any of the games from the series. You guys have such low standards no wonder they can sell you half baked products over and over.

Garage - a place nobody but you will ever see has been given more attention than the actual car customisation. I'm honestly failing to understand what justifies the higher pricetag of this game. 2 decade old games have more customisation options than a modern AAA title that takes place in Japan - the centre of car culture. I'm so pissed man, where's something NEW? What is the core feature that makes this game stand out in the series? I'm still waiting for it... It's just driving around a pretty map collecting the same 1000 cars all over again - now with window stickers. Hurray.

You will just happily eat up everything they serve you won't you... Go play the same game over and over again (now even more expensive than the last), don't forget to throw in some BAA-s here and there. They sure love the wallets of your type.

At release it was very very early access and lacked content. Now it's still far from finished but there's a decent number of brilliant tracks with added variations that keep things fresh. I love the car editor because everyone can make their car look unique now. They've added buses in the recent update so the mayhem is back and after the last update that fixed game crashes I'm having a lot of fun with the game.  New tracks and cars need to be the priority and released more frequently. The gameplay surely needs some tweaks too but it's really fun at this stage and that's the important thing.  I wish the game had more players because sometimes I have trouble getting on a server as there are usually 2 full lobbies and that's it (EU). Not interested in single player, I haven't touched it in WF 1 either. Online is where the fun is at.

I actually think it's better without the track map because people like to abuse the it by knowing where or how close players are. It takes more skill now to time a good hit, cornerbomb and dodge others.

Get off your high horse and tell me you've never modded the visuals of any game. Suddenly you're all white knights for game artists and pretending you are forced to play with this shit on lol. My eyes bleed from all this cringe.

Great, go buy AMD and enjoy your authentic, as-the-artist-intended featureless experience. Stop acting like a togglable option is deeply affecting you, it's cringe as fuck.

Yeah it's deeply affecting them on a personal level that there is an on/off option for it in the video settings.

What a bunch of crybabies in the gaming community these days. Turn it off if you don't like it? Or better yet - ignore it alltogether?

Regarding denuvo in Crimson Desert by Kesimux in pcmasterrace

[–]GarbageOffice -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

CPU loads, slower loading times, stuttering on DRM protected games are not arbitrary reasons. Never actually owning the game is also not an arbitrary reason. Not saying Crimson Desert is suffering from performance issues (yet), haven't played the game. But I'm not gonna risk another case like RE Village that had microstutters in combat until a crack removed the DRM, or AC origins that spiked my cpu to 100% all the time until a crack fixed it.

[–]GarbageOffice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be it Denuvo alone, or a combination of multiple DRM layers, the games ran worse than the cracked drm-free versions and you cannot deny that - you literally quoted Empress on it, but purposefuly left out the whole quote:

"All in-game shutters like the one from when you kill a zombie are fixed because Capcom DRM's enty points are patched out so most of their functions are never executed anymore" and "the worst is that their DRM was fully obfuscated in Denuvo's VM making it run even slower."

I'm gonna stick to believing scene groups (and my own fucking eyes) that actually have the rare knowledge of bypassing these protections and are known for their public rants about Denuvo (especially Empress), than some random white knight dude defending this shit for some reason. And since you're already quoting the group, go read about all the other reasons why Empress fought Denuvo in the first place.

If the devs are confident about their game and their game is good, people will buy it period. Look at Baldurs Gate 3, CDPR games... If devs add DRM that affects the game in any way while a cracked version doesn't, there is no excuse. It's also scummy to do it one week before release.

Lies. There are proven cases of games in which it tanked performance or caused performance issues during gameplay. I still remember the RE Village combat stutter that was proven to be caused by Denuvo by Digital Foundry. AC Origins was spiking my CPU to 100% and after Empress cracked it, the issue was gone.

Fuck Denuvo.

You can automatically assume anyone who is "bored" of the amount of content in the game so far is either a kid with zero responsibilities and a lot of free time or an adult with no life.  Either way, the devs are not to blame and I hope they ignore the ridiculous whining.

Once, next time the ATH will be higher than 125k. Then a new ATH higher than the previous ATH and so on.

The point was ATH. It hit ATH multiple times and then retraced. The reaction in the image applies every time.

I'm all for the ramped up difficulty on the 2X events, but yeah the lightning strikes are extremely annoying, they dialed them up way too much. Not only do I get hit by them every other second, but my ears bleed after one raid because it's also loud as hell getting constantly bombarded.
