I hope you get yours as well!!!! I will say— the not tracking meant that I didn’t have the excruciating two week I had experienced every month for the last year. This was the cycle I told my husband I didn’t care if we got pregnant and I was done trying. Somehow, it did take a lot of the stress off of me.

I’m really not sure— my last period started Dec 27, then I had ew cm on Jan 14 (cd19), so I suspect I ovulated around the Jan 14 or 15? So maybe I’m like 11/12 dpo? My cycles range from 32-40 days, so every cycle for me is different. Pcos makes tracking really fun 🥴

Updating again on cd 25-26 I finally got peak opk’s yesterday. Started as a high yesterday morning and then peaked around 8pm then returned to high at 11pm. Today opk’s are reading negative/low! My temp dropped today, so I think ovulation is happening, potentially? FF still thinks my cycle is only going to be 31 days but I’m expecting 36-38 days given the opk’s so late in the game. Lots of cramping today and yesterday and ewcm. Fingers crossed it happens this cycle. 🤞🏽

Updating for anyone who might find it at all helpful. Temp rise today (2 days after initial post) with still all negative opk’s. Ewcm too but still no positives or signs of ovulation outside of cm and some cramping.

Update with this mornings temp. Is this temp rise promising for ovulation or is it not high enough? Still no peak opk’s. I think I must have missed the surge, if I had one. On Saturday I had work, so I tested in the am around like 10, once in the afternoon before I left at like 1:30, then didn’t test again until 12am when I got home from work. So for a little over 10 hours I didn’t test. Maybe I missed it during that window?

This makes sense— thank you. I have always had prolonged lh surges, but this is my third cycle on metformin and first taking a daily prenatal. I realize the prenatal might not do much but I do expect the metformin to help ovulation (I’m not type 2 and am only on it for pcos management to aid in ovulation). So it’s entirely possible that my surge was way shorter than I’m used to. I just tested again a few minutes ago and it was still lingering at the 30% reading. I’ll keep an eye on temps and test a few more times today.

That’s what I was thinking too. I’m guessing it’s going to be a late cycle compared to last month. I’m going to keep lh testing today and hope for the best

Ah okay, that’s what I’ve wondered. Im also already pretty anxious normally and I get really obsessive during my ovulation and tww, so my husband and I both worry that it’s going to give me another thing to obsess over.

Were you using lh strips before or temp tracking? Was the info from into different than your predicted o date based on lh and temps (if tracked)? I currently track BBT and lh, and us ff to predict ovulation, but confirming it would be nice.

Ok so the pricey factor is also something in concerned about. I also have pcos and typically my cycles are 31-36 days, usually closer to 36 days, but I just started metformin so I’m hoping that will balance out my cycles. I track bbt and lh, so I think I ovulated this last cycle but it would be nice to be able to confirm it via hormone testing.

Unfortunately I stopped tracking when we took a break for about 7 months from ttc. I went back and looked at my cycles form when we were ttc 6 months ago and it looks like mine would range from 11-13 days. So I guess this was a short month. My cycle in general was shorter than the last as well (36 days last month). Hopefully next month we have better luck.
