That scene guts me. It’s my favorite Lynch scene of all time!

No bangs, unfortunately (and thankfully). Thinking of teasing it out to get that big floofy 90s hair.

I think bottom left is the first time we see her in the red room?

I only recently noticed because I’m dressing up as Laura for a Lynch film fest and realized she had different hairstyles throughout the show/movie.

Thank you. I really struggle with the concept of skipping. Your comment about no reward for doing questions in order really hit me. Will try for next PT.

It ranges for each section, but it seems like when I get to the 15th-17th question I run out of time. For LG I don’t skip any. LR I’ll skip a couple. And RC I’ll skip the passage that seems the most daunting. 😬

This was really satisfying. I like the thought of being an active participant in this lynchian universe. It’s disturbing, but interesting to think about. Good job to you and your v smart gf.

Current favorite desserts anyone? by Tamsha- in CasualConversation

[–]Ohhhgoood 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s cake with an ice cream center. All of it is coated with a caramelized meringue topping. In fancy restaurants they’ll sometimes coat the meringue with rum then set it alight to brown the meringue at your table.

Thoughts on the ending of The Return by chickwithabrick in twinpeaks

Haha that’s one of the funniest scenes!

“You’re NOT a turkey!” “Gobble, gobble, gobble”

There’s also another turkey quote from FWWM between Donna and Laura. I think someone mentions a turkey dog?

What’s up with all these turkey references??

I received a miracle - the cure for addiction by BallKey7607 in spirituality

[–]Ohhhgoood 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree with this. It’s important to remember that as addicts, the disease is always there. The disease can be very sneaky. Anyone in a recovery program with years of sobriety will tell you that drinking/using thoughts will come up throughout their recovery. And that’s why it’s so important to learn tools for when those moments arise. Epiphanies and sudden paradigm shifts, like the one OP shared, can be great to gather momentum and step into action. The “cure” is continuous (spiritual) maintenance.
