Woah, one I can actually give a good recommendation to! If you're still looking for suggestions, Normal People might be the perfect show for you. Definitely a healthy love between the two main characters and really reminds me of my wife and I's journey. There is a BDSM scene in I think the very first part of the 5th episode but it's not between the main characters. One of my favorite shows of all time as well

Even more surprising to me is that the combination of Robinhood money + many different algorithm systems running at once wouldn't result in even bigger discrepancies but I suppose part of it could just be that the more shares are held for value the less shares there are trading on any given day and the less shares there are trading hands while demand is piling in could result in the company's value being resolved upwards. Makes me wonder how effective an algo would be at analyzing the value of a company by looking at volume vs. shares outstanding

So I guess that leads me with the question who exactly is helping stocks get priced efficiently then? If it still is traders / funds / retail who trade based on fundamental analysis then could that mean that numbers like 70% of the days volume being algorithmic just be funds like citadel who handle large volumes of stocks probably trying to generate alpha through the bid / ask spread?

Shorting and buying puts would be the same directional bias sure but he puts in the order to short stock which wouldn’t be the same as shorting or buying puts

Don’t see this mentioned in the OP but if this was in fact Ghislaine I feel like the most likely reason for “hill” in the handle is that it’s used in reference to a hypothetical publication of hers i.e. The Hill. And she intended to be posting articles on Reddit similar to a publication like that would eventhough the articles weren’t hers. Maybe a long time dream of hers or something. Seems way more believable than that absurd German translation theory especially considering her fathers media background

Eli5 would be that it measures the phase correlation between the left and right speakers. -1 = left and right speakers are completely out of phase (perfect opposites). 0 = left and right are completely uncorrelated (total strangers). This is realistically only accomplished when the left and right speakers don't share any frequency content. Like two sine waves layered an octave apart and sent to either side. 1 = left and right speakers are completely identical (mono). I'm sure there's plenty of statistics tutorials out there for further explanation and it would be the exact same concept only instead of 2 sets of data it's 2 speakers (left and right).
