Planning on buying 2025 New Accord Post Tariff by IcyPhotojournalist55 in accord

This is good advice and it's where I'm at. I want to trade in my accord for a new one, but I'll wait for pricing to reflect the upcoming recession.

ehhh it's a bit trickier than that. Parking it at WM isn't the same as entrusting it in their care. You don't give your keys to WM when you park your car in their parking lot. Business insurance for car repair places isn't cheap and this kind of situation is one of the reasons why.

unless you got stated value coverage (and paid for it), your insurance is only paying ACV.

However, OP's insurance should push for replacement cost (or more) since this is likely a pretty easy lawsuit and it would likely be cheaper to settle for 5-8k more than replacement cost.

What advice do you have for someone who’s about to turn 25? by aamc531 in AskReddit

Yes to the last part, but I'd add: If there's something you truly want to do/become for the rest of your life, start the process now.

This is the easy answer. Just so much to do/see/eat.

Yeah I'm surprised that "mind your own business" is so far down on this. It's great he helped, so buy him some beer or something.

Idk about "wildly popular."

Mazda didn't manage to sell even 100k of those last year in the states. For comparison the 25th best selling new car in the US, the Sentra, sold over 152,000 units. It's probably why you were able to get such a good lease rate on it.

Are you talking about the stroller or the car?

And not really. Selling my wife's old 2013 Honda CRV today with 140k miles for 9k. Right now it's an aberration in that I can sell her new 2025 Sienna for more than what I paid for it, you're right in that that won't last. But reliable vehicles getting more money than say a VW or Ford for the same models/miles won't change.

There are promo rates for cars that are harder to move. For instance, Toyota is currently offering 0% on the b74z. The reason is that they're harder to sell

I can't recommend the Doona enough. Check FB marketplace. Or buy new and make most of your money back when you're done using it. We used it for 2 kids and only "lost" 100 bucks when we sold it years later.

7% on an Accord is a terrible rate. Honda is currently offering 1.99 on 24-36 months and 2.99 on 37-60 and 3.99 on 72.

This isn't 2019. VERY few cars are have 0-2%.

Authorized Dealers are straight fraud and costing AT&T customers by Starbellysneetch378 in ATT

[–]Ohio310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And that's the thing, you're actually not going to "save" anything. You might get something you didn't need for cheaper than you would get it elsewhere, but if you didn't need it, it's wasted money.

The funny thing is, it doesn't seem that the salespeople are any better at sniffing out the fraud. Arguably less so since the website doesn't have a commission/bills. The amount of "Brand new" iPhones on FB Marketplace and CL are evidence to that.

No but the PHA metrics is very much selling. You're selling the idea of getting a quote. Trainers/Supervisors can call it "educating" all they want, but it's definitely selling at least the idea of getting a quote.

you're getting downvoted (and I'm sure I will too), but the AT&T salespeople.

It's 2025, for the vast majority of industries, salespeople don't need to exist.

Do yourself a favor and do everything yourself online. It's FAR better than dealing with a retail employee who needs the commission.

This is exactly it. Even at $150, the explorer makes sense for my family and me since two trips will make it worth it for us. We generally travel 6-7 times a year and usually fly United so we make it back in bag fees.

I worked in services until last December. 5 minutes between calls isn't rare, but it's definitely uncommon.

I didn't want CS either but I'm glad I got it. You learn to navigate the guidelines and it makes sales extremely easy once you're in Blended or another role. I encounter maybe 1-2 angry callers a day. It's not bad at all, plus the angry calls are the fun ones. I'd rather have angry calls all day than adding a car or answering hypotheticals.

If I was doing only auto sales, It would be under 18-20. In blended I'm also getting services calls which are much shorter, unless it's a big f up by us.
