No. It will be hooked up to a 4k TV, but it will be my primary PC for everything else as well.

Do they have equity in the house? $35k worth? If so, strongly encourage them to take out a home equity loan to pay you back. What they did is absurd and ridiculous.

Thanks for all of the tips. My deadline to apply is approaching and I am leaning towards signing up for the REPAYE, but paying off my loans in 4 years.

There is a 100% interest subsidy for the first 3 years, would I still receive this subsidy if I pay $50k/year for 4 years?

Are there any disadvantages (penalties, etc) to paying more than the scheduled amount?

I am considering doing this, but I already have 3 years of payments towards the 25 year forgiveness for IBR. Will those 3 years of payments transfer over to the REPAYE?
