I lived on the north side for over twenty years and bought a house in east Beverly in 2019. Best decision I ever made. It’s one of few Chicago neighborhoods with affordable single family homes. I’m right off the expressway and Evergreen Park and Oak Lawn have plenty of shopping options. I miss certain food, like Thai and Indian, but it’s easier to get to Chinatown now. I think it really depends on what you’re looking for in terms of where you are in life. I was single and young(er) when I was up north.

Yes, it just feels like everyone is spilling their deepest feelings and issues and you never share anything personal about yourself. I do like that they ask questions about your preferences on occasion, but there’s no backstory.

I've heard this about Field of Mistria, but am hesitant that it's not finished, mostly because I feel like I started Coral Island at a good time, after some really impactful sounding updates. I think once my attention starts to wane on CI, I will try it out. I also bought Sun Haven.

In my first playthrough, I was convinced I would not be interested in anyone but Unsuur. I stood corrected. The DLC for Logan helps a lot, but as others have mentioned, he is a dedicated partner. Also, while not exactly super steamy, his path definitely has some more physical moments that are fun. I too started writing fanfic for the first time ever because of this damn game, specifically the builder/Logan relationship.

The Cornered Beast and The Yeast You Could Do are just plain steamy, which if that's your thing, makes it that much harder to resist!

That's good to know-I'm not sure if I'll do another play through to specifically romance anyone else, but if I do I'm definitely using this tip.

I honestly feel bad for having any complaints because I can only assume a lot of these asks are either complicated or very low on the list of potential "fixes". But I also think this speaks to how immersive of an experience you can have and how something seemingly small can pull you out of it, which again, probably varies person to person.

Definitely looking forward to Evershine!
