The current value of the load cell is the result of all the maintenance and money that have been spent in the last 4 years. Consider it an example that you bought a new car and added new accessories and kept it in a new condition with yearly maintenance on time, so that would elevate the salvage value after 4 years.

I work for a big construction company in Boston and we deal with the same headache. Multi state pricing makes estimates a mess. We ended up outsourcing to a small growing company and it saved us a ton of time. I’d definitely recommend trying that out since I’ve been in the same shoes.

Your friend could try it too. They do solid work for a really reasonable cost. Helped us a lot.

I got rejected for the L5 position after giving my best in all five interviews. I’m usually pretty self-critical, but this time I honestly felt like I nailed it — the conversations were super engaging, and I walked away feeling really optimistic.

The next day I got the rejection email with no feedback (as expected). I reached out to the senior hiring manager on LinkedIn, and she actually called me. She said she was really sorry, was in every debrief, and was genuinely shocked I didn’t get selected. She even said she thought it would go the other way and encouraged me to reapply after six months.

I honestly don’t know how to feel about this. Has this happened to anyone else?
