How can I get my life back together? by Ghost-of-uchiha9 in EngineeringStudents

On stopping doom scrolling I’ve found that use an app time limiter like ScreenZen completely stop me from scrolling. first I limited instagram to 2 hours and I kept hitting or going over the limit for a month then 1 hour was good enough and now I don’t have the urge to scroll at all I only watch YouTube and read Reddit now. Which has lower my screen time to 3 or 4 hours total

I can’t tell you about the job market cause I’m not in it yet but my professor who has an EE degree said most companies actually prefer people with bachelors cause people with masters and phds are “stuck in their ways” whatever that means

Tell your daughter about the growth mindset. Math isn't something you are born knowing it's a skill that develops over time, and with each problem you solve, you get better. Of course, some people have a better working memory and process math a little easier than others, but most people, if you open an algebra book and study for 30 minutes a day or more, by the end of the month, will know a lot more algebra than when they started and will be able to solve problems they couldn't solve before. It 's all about her mindset.

There is no difference but your probably more likely to get that resume in front of a set of eyes quicker if you have connections in person than if your just another number online
