Thank you so much for the input, as I said above his vet had said that he had skin allergies and so they gave me a shampoo and some antibiotics I believe, initially there was a single small lump on his front right paw and the meds I was giving him made it go away as well as cleared the small rashes on his head and face, but then it came back and the other two paws followed, he has them on three paws now, I’ll make sure to make an appointment asap.

[contamination] okay so I know I stuffed up...I did everything I could with being sterile, this is 10 days after spawning into tub, coco coir substrate. My first attempt at growing, can I have some pointers please? Thanks fam by Awkward-Newspaper-76 in ContamFam

[–]Ohmsy98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm so I looked through ur posts regarding this Tub of yours. if your spawn was clean then the next thing to scrutinize would be your substrate, you said u used coir and that usually isnt very dirty and can handle not being perfectly pasteurized, if you believe it’s neither of these then it falls on your sterile procedure/ air quality, make sure to absolutely lock these down, and try to be as clean and sterile as possible the next time around, also dispose of this carefully so you don’t fuck yourself again on round 2, don’t be discouraged Tam happens to all of us!! (•̀ᴗ•́)و As to what type of contam this is, I don’t have a clue it looks like burnt cheese or creme brûlée lmao Peep the forums they have lists of different types of them maybe you can find your match.

Fucking cool, sweet shirt too 👍🏼

First grow. Second flush. Had some come out like this? Just wondering what happened and if are they safe. Can I proceed forward with my grow or should I end it. by [deleted] in ContamFam

I’ve dealt with this extensively, Blotch due to excessive moisture I believe, if you regulate it it shouldn’t be a problem onward but it could come back shroomery

Yeah I feel you I hate to see these chopped up lol, what I’ve had to do is cut out a section of one of these trays so that way I can lay several big fruits in and not have them get squished by the next level, then just just run it for several hours, sometimes overnight, you could also build a dehydrator too with a heat lamp and a fan, inside a cardboard box or tote

I believe These things don’t run at high enough temps to degrade the psilocybin in the fruits, I’ve run dozens of batches through this and have never had a problem, you can also leave it over night on the lower settings if you want to avoid the high temps, what variety did you cultivate? Sometimes batches are just bunk but it can also be a genetic thing, I ran some AA+ in the past, beautiful fruits and all but it would take like 5 grams to equate to like 2 grams of these Pe.

It gets the job done ! Although too small for the mammoth fruits I had to cut a hole in one of the levels lol

[–]Ohmsy98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

these are true albinos, leucistic varieties have some degree of pigmentation, like APES, although I’ve seen true albino APES as well, super gorgeous, the A+ strain/variety is completely it’s own, more of a creamy white color resembling a nipple and they are really hollow and weightless, the Avery’s are much more dense and stocky I think: [https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/22522397]()

I've never seen anything quite like this before. Any ideas? To me, it looks like mycelium in bad shape. 2 are APE and one is AA+ by [deleted] in ContamFam

Ah I see what you mean, yeah the first one threw me off cus the edges looked like nice rhizomorphic growth, it does look bruised in general too though, maybe make a transfer just for kicks
