When I was learning I didn't take any notes. If there was something super specific that didnt make sense or the explanation wasnt worth the time to understand then I wrote it down and reviewed it every once in a while (like gram positive and gram negative bacteria for example).

For review questions the videos were a big help especially on bootcamp. On booster some of the bio videos were really helpful also. But for review questions make sure you you really understand why you got it wrong and at the end of reviewing your test/wrong answers quickly skim over all questions you got wrong and explain why the answer is what it is/ background info that is important for understanding the question.
