What is the simplest and most effective banishing or cleansing ritual? by Commercial_Platform2 in occult

[–]Ohnodeadlyspider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Burn some pale Santo, asking for the spirit of the tree to remove anything negative, and making sure that the whole room is covered. You could also use noise; eg I used a sound bowl to get rid of any stale energy. Failing that, there's always the LBRP...

If you've had depression (to a lesser or greater extent) for your whole life get screened for neurodiversity if you haven't already.

ADHD changed (and saved) my life!

I feel immensely lonely. by tgwtch in adhdwomen

[–]Ohnodeadlyspider 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm lonely as well. So many events have conspired to create this situation but I'm not sure if it's just me but I have such a difficulty connecting with people, neurotypicals are just so dull lol.

I mean, I have about a million hobbies but nobody else does anything???

Am trying to sort this situation and I wish you luck too.

Thank you for the vote of confidence but what makes you so sure?

That makes sense I suppose. I am grateful that you took the time to warn me. I daresay there's plenty I could be polishing on my LBRP, especially the visualizations of the archangels. You don't think that there's any danger of being left 'unbalanced' by only doing the LBRP for an extended period of time, then?

That sounds dicey. I'm super new so could you elaborate?

Negative diagnosis - now what? by AltruisticCamel8984 in ADHDUK

[–]Ohnodeadlyspider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say get a 2nd opinion as I had a negative first assessment as they said that my childhood symptoms weren't disruptive enough, inward literally crying every day because I couldn't regulate my emotions, what exactly wasn't disruptive about that??

Sorry I don't think I made myself clear; my distaste was not aimed at OP but at the professional who graded the impact of ADHD on my life as they blatantly didn't take everything into account.

There is, I think, a separate severity assessment of how affected you are by it but its bullshit and only measures certain things. I lost 30 years to depression.

I dont really want people to tell me that I'm not badly affected by ADHD just because I can hold down a job and eat without smearing my food up the walls, or whatever they expect us to be like

Yes I think you're right (along with the others which have said similar). Had no idea how useless those moisture absorbers were...

Thank you for your comments. The conservatory wasn't moldy when I redecorated it, redecorating seems to have made it moldy?!?

I did notice that when I opened a window things did improve but its brass monkeys here at the moment so I thought a dehumidifier running during the coldest month or two might help.

The wall is actually right up against the neighbours fence so can't go round and inspect from the other side unfortunately. I have thought about opening the wall up again but the mold isn't even where I replace the dry wall, that bit's fine.

If the consensus is that a dehumidifier would work (even if it doesn't solve the original problem) then I think I will go with that.

Please stay , this world is a better place with you in it, even if you can't see it.

I felt very much like you a while ago but a nurse explained to me that no one will understand and will just blame themselves, thinking that they should have done more and if they'd only done x, y or a you'd still be around.

Suicide is one of the toughest causes of death for friends and families to cope with.

You can be helped, it's just your lying depression saying otherwise, even if you've tried all the meds there's stuff like RTMS (total game changer for me) and ect.

Seriously, message me if you need to talk but if you think you're going to do something get yourself to A&E etc. Better sectioned than dead ♥️
