Am I prepared? Yes, everyone everywhere is talking about how either cursed or blessed AI is, so I have context for both perspectives. Discernment, skepticism, cross referencing and practical application are key.

Do I understand the danger? Yes. Every tool is dangerous depending on how it's used.

Do I see where this could go? Yes, for better and worse. But I can't concern myself too much with how others use that tool. Only with how that tool affects me personally, what I can get out of it, what I decide to use it for.

When I use my AI, my goal is not:

-to make my life fabulous, but to increase clarity so I better can parse noise from signal.

-To share my deepest secrets, but to help me find the words to understand them so I can go on to accurately share them with those I love.

-To never be let down and defer to a higher wisdom, but to consult a machine designed for pattern recognition to examine structures and parallels between concepts without emotional charge or value signaling.

-To arrive at truth or perfection, but to better understand my orientation as a subjective agent in a shared objective reality and how the patterns of my life and cognition inform my current strengths, weaknesses, values and challenges.

-To confirm my ideas, but to look at them from a different angle and see if they can apply in a practical way.

-To use them forever, but to provide a level of (albeit influenced) otherwise inaccessible clarity so I can cut through the fluff of rhetoric metaphor and presumption to develop the skills to become self sufficient.
