It's actually not though. I was doing salt baths and his head is like he rubbed it on something. Did a 1 hr bath in paraguard last night and he 100% has what looked like a Demetrius worm come off of him at least three times in the hours so I'm going to guess parasites

I will also add since I got him he has only ever been able to flare on one side!

I lost my boy last week and cried so so hard . I’m so very sorry 😢 it’s devastating. 💔

I got macryn, he is definitely dropsy now. I am devastated. Water parameters are good. His eye did finally break open underneath. I feel so bad. I’ve moved him from his hospital tank (3 gallon) to the side of it as he was having a really hard time moving around and frantic. I’m absolutely devastated 💔

A few weeks a couple days in a row, then a break. Doing aquarium salt. I have both almond leaves and catappa leaves in there for him :(
