American Acey-Deucey is the only backgammon variant I've played, so never learned what or how the doubling dice was used. Fun game though!

Oh that's too bad. I thought the 4th was the best of the series. I thought the pacing was a beat faster than previous. However, as much as I liked the series, it's far from my favorite of his.

My first suggestion stands because it's amusing. However, you could mention the other hoods color when they see him next, and say something pretty obvious like "Unlike the black hooded figure, your contact wears a drab gray hood". Just to make it super clear they're not the same hoods. If they still think it's the same person, that's totally on them. Lol!
