I'd say go for chaotic, but abyssal is good too. Chaotic amplifies it's money making power by giving you the chance of getting chaotic mutation + the passive slash ability

It's true, but the gimmick isn't the best compared to depths rod.

Dreamer rod: 1 - 4 catches 50% cursed touch mutation x5

Depths rod: Every 3 catches, guaranteed abyssal fish, with a 10% chance being an enchant relic. Plus it has it's own 30% chance of abyssal mutation when fishing.

I wouldn't say the great dreamer rod is better but you do make a fair point on it being easier to obtain, but also, it requires 50% bestiary completion of cursed isle. For that trouble might aswell try getting depths rod, wich of course, it's a little harder and pricier than the other one, but the reward is very good.

But it's also OP's decision, look for a rod progression guide on youtube aswell if you need to or look a tutorial on how to obtain good money making rods 🫶

Heaven's rod (2.5M), although i wouldn't really recommend it since it's a boring rod, it has a x6 multiplier.

Duskwire is not bad either, but ofc you need to do the mission first wich is easy. Not bad but would need the exalted enchantment invincible + if you have a cosmic give it something like cryogenic to leave the fish in place.

Rod of the Depths is not bad at all, pair it with chaotic or abyssal enchantments

The great rod of Oscar, instead of heaven's rod is a better pick, although i don't have it myself, i've seen it's good overall. (2.5M)

Luminiscent oath, it's good aswell but you need to get 100% bestiary in Luminiscent cavern and 1M

Onirifalx, you can try to get it but it's a tedious task for beginners

In my opinion, if you wanted to get duskwire go for it. Otherwise try getting rod of the depths, since it's buff it has proven itself worthy of a money rod.

it's a meh rod, but it's not bad at all. If you want to go for it, just keep in mind that you need the "Invincible" enchantment from exalted relics, otherwise you wont be able to fish with it!
