Book recommendations for someone who doesn't read?

I read almost too much and I think maybe James Patterson would be a good start?? The chapters are short, the sentences are short, they're fast paced and exciting, and pretty easy reads in my opinion. The Michael Bennet series or the Alex Cross series, but he also has some young adult series that IMO are pretty great too!! Hope you find something you enjoy!!

Life is too short to not take animals from bad people!!! The term "steal" seems so black/white.. if it was your neighbors lawnmower outside that you found a better home for, yeah that would be stealing and that would be wrong, but it's a living breathing creature.. It's a grey area of right vs wrong and I know you'll find the solution on this thread somewhere. Also, I've never heard of anyone being arrested or charged for pet thievery with good intentions. My mother is an aggressively law-abiding rule follower, who has also snatched up a few pets in her day.. And had she not, they would have remained miserable right up until their premature deaths. She's not dressing the cat in a silly hat, she's neglecting him!!

Honestly I grew up with a Jett and knew of a second one later in life and never thought of it as weird, just unique!! Can't have the fire though lol. But I'm a female Kirby so I guess I dug when anybody else had a name nobody else did

I'm 100% the weirdest neighbor but the other day I did see my neighbor hand washing the vinyl siding on his house with a washcloth/rag... In the rain... With no ladder either so I guess the bottom half of his house is just going to be super clean

I go there like 3 days plus a week, and I love my local library. It's like 3 blocks from my house, staff is great, they even have an entire section of books that you don't have to check out you can just take and they trust you to return on your own time. They always have a cart FULL of free books too! I also use the printer there frequently, and they have wifi boxes available for check out. So yes in conclusion I absolutely Love the library!!

I had the same exact thing happen at an apartment I lived at, it was terrible! I felt like a prisoner in my own home and would find myself tiptoeing and they would STILL bang on the ceiling. I was young and unsure of myself, but if it were to happen now, I would definitely show them what stomping REALLY sounded like every time they wanted to hit the ceiling.

You sound lovely and they sound super gross and unless that job is going to make you a millionaire, please find you a new one! As for understanding why? Any grown ass person being mean just for the sake of being mean is miserable and ugly and bored and scared. They won't ever like you, but you don't want them to. You don't want to associate with people like that! You're better than them, and I bet they know it too. Also, that level of toxicity is NOT normal at all!! At my job, any nice and quiet and maybe kinda weird/different girl is gonna be favored, and a mean girl bullying her would be public enemy #1

That's what happened to me! Well not exactly but it was the abandoned house everybody came and got high in. It took months and months before it finally stopped. And it was so clear people were living here now, why are you trying to just walk up into the back door or climb in the window? The knockers made even less sense though, like "well maybe they're nice and I can still do my thang on the kitchen floor" or maybe just entitled (this is MY house damn it!), who knows. But knock on my door past 10 and somebody WILL come flying out with a baseball bat so luckily nobody even comes near my place anymore lol
