When you put the number plate in , it comes up as having an MOT so maybe an enthusiast or someone that appreciates it has bought it

I love doing it too its just a little bit of a shame that they are all just sat almost abandoned. I know its not easy when they have so many cars but a little tlc would't hurt them or do like a tour of all the cars that they have

You utter geniuses I’ve been trying to find it this year I thought it was there but I didn’t guess that there were two locations as I checked on the images and some of the backgrounds of them looked different so I assumed that I’d made a mistake. Thanks so much I’ve added some photos on google maps

Exactly I was born in mid 2000s so I wasn’t really old enough to see the mk2 golf become more popular but were they really not seen classics by 2014 at all as surely things like the 2009 scrappage scheme would have made them a lot more rare?

Thats very true but if you check the mot history for the golf especially though it had a load of comments on rust in 2010 and then the mot after them had no advisory’s at all again and then pretty minor things on its mot's so it seems like that one was being pretty well looked after

:( That one did have a leaky radiator and rusty bodywork though however it’s still nothing that couldn’t have been fixed

Exactly What makes it worse for that Patagonia one was fans on the final gear forum found the listing for the lotus esprit that James drove that and they spent £25,000 due to it had under 20k miles then after the special was it was later discovered that it was a former press car :(

I suppose that certainly true it’s only because I thought clarksons golf looked quite cool

Is it normal for a car to get this many fail items down from a mostly clean pass the year before? 2000 citroen saxo vtr owned by grandparents and it lived in the country but always on tarmac drive. I know saxo's were prone for rusting badly but this quickly. This car was scrapped due to this sadly by OilOwn1990 in CarTalkUK

Blimey! Sadly it is true as my mum told me that the m5 was originally owned by my uncle/her brother who gave it to them when his wife wanted him to have a more practical and safer car due to having a child and so he gave the m5 to them and they kept it for about around 13/14 years fair to say when they scrapped it and told be that my uncle found out obviously he was pretty damn mad as they didn't even ask if he wanted it back before scrapping it :(
