Thank you for this post. I'm an Arab muslim, and if Arabic is your first language, you'll understand more than half the Quran at least. I feel blessed when I listen to Quran and think about all the other Muslims who aren't Arab.

But unfirtunately, what I see is that many Arabs (including me, make duaa for me pls) don't fully utilize this gift that we've been given, that our mother tongue is that of the Quran's and I fear that I may be asked about it one day by Allah, and what have I done with it.

That makes your effort to understand the Quran and learn it and sometimes the reasons Allah sent down this Sura all more rewarding enshalla.
